HOURS OF OPERATION:

June 28-Aug. 3.

9AM-3PM-The counselor’s responsibility ends at dismissal. NOTE: LAST DAY OF CAMPALL SITES END At 12 Noon!

Campers must be picked up promptly or late fee of $20. each 15 minutes will becharged. If late more than twice,camper is no longer able to attend camp and no refund will be given. If fee is not paid within one week of notification of offense, the camper is prohibited from attending camp until fee is paid in full.

CAR POOL: Please send a written note to your child’s counselor and sign your child out with counselor.

LATE ARRIVALS:

Must be done at Supervisor’s Office for the safety of all the children. DO NOT DROP CHILDREN OFF TO ENTER ON THEIR OWN.

EARLY PICKUP:

Please send a written note to your child’s counselor. Go to Supervisor’s Office to pickup.

SPECIAL TRIPS:Signups and Payment for ALL off-site trips are first come/first served. No exceptions!

Trips limited so sign up early!!

REFUNDS/

LATE SIGNUPS FOR TRIPS NOT ACCEPTED!

All Trip Regis. close June 15 (full or not).

NOT TAKING A TRIP? Normal camp activities take place.

ATTIRE:

Sneakers or closed-toe shoes a must! Use of SPF15 is recommended!

T-SHIRTS:

Must be worn for all off-site trips. No Shirt/No Trip! T-Shirts provided by Parks & Rec.

We are not responsible for lost shirts!

LD Beach:

Scheduled throughout summer. Please send your child with towel, sunscreen and wearing a bathing suit!

LUNCH:

Non-refrig. Food with a drink & snack.NO GLASS PLEASE.Send in a cooler/ice packs.

MEDICATION

Counselors are certified in First Aid and CPR. They cannot dispense medication. Parents must come to site to administer any medication.

BEHAVIOR:

Expected Behavior Agreement must be signed by parent at time of registration. Camp rules and procedures are explained to ALL campers on the first day. Failure to follow rules will result in loss of privileges or dismissal from camp. NO REFUNDS!

2018SUMMER CAMP RULES:

  1. If you see someone with his/her hand up, stop talking.
  2. Stay with your group at all times.
  3. Try all activities-you may find you like them!
  4. If you have a problem, tell your counselor.
  5. Pay attention when walking near a parking lot.
  6. Swearing and poor language is not allowed at camp.
  7. Smoking is not allowed.
  8. Boy/Girl relationships are to be kept at a minimum and should not interfere with camp.
  9. Campers must wear closed toed shoes at all times.
  10. Camper t-shirts must be worn on all field trips.
  11. Leave toys, electronics & valuables at home. We don’t want anything to happen to your things!
  12. After lunch, clean up the area around you. Popping juice boxes is not allowed.
  13. No running in the halls of the school.
  14. Fighting is not tolerated.
  15. Anyone caught stealing will be asked to leave camp.
  16. Respect yourself, each other and camp staff.
  17. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
  18. Remain seated at all times when riding the school bus.
  19. Nothing is to be thrown out of bus windows.
  20. Obey beach rules
  21. Respect authority of lifeguards.
  22. Camp should be safe and fun.
  23. Accidents don’t happen-they are caused. Be careful!
  24. If your child is late coming to camp, please bring him/her to the Supervisors’ Office. Do Not just drop him/off in the parking lot!
  25. We strongly discourage children bringing cell phones to camp. If they must bring them, we ask that they are left on vibrate and are used only in emergency situations!

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR POLICY

Our counselors are trained to ensure the safety of your child. The following is discussed with campers on the first day of camp. Repeated failure to obey these rules may result in the following:

Strike 1-Talk to child and parent

Strike 2-Privileges (group activities, special events or trips will be taken away)-NO REFUNDS GIVEN.

Strike 3-Camper will be asked to leave program without a refund.

BEHAVIOR AGREEMENT (BY SIGNING ATTACHED POLICY, PARENT AGREES TO SHARE RULES WITH THEIR CHILD/CHILDREN):

  1. I understand that my counselor is trained to keep me safe and I will listen and be respectful.
  2. I agree to never laugh at, tease or argue with other campers.
  3. I agree to help clean up after a game or activity.
  4. I agree to be respectful of school property.
  5. I agree never to leave my group without permission from my counselor.
  6. I agree to keep my hands and feet to myself.
  7. I agree never to swear or use poor language.
