By the Assistant Chief, Audio Division, Media Bureau:

1. The Audio Division has before it Notices of Proposed Rule Making[1], specified below, setting forth six separate proposals to allot a FM channel to a specific community. Each petitioner filed comments in support of its proposal reaffirming its intention to apply for the specified channel, if allotted. Each proposal complies with all Commission technical requirements and we continue to believe that each proposal would serve the public interest. Accordingly, we adopt each proposal as originally proposed. These are as follows:

A. MB Docket No. 04-195; RM-10975

Action: At the request of Paul B. Christensen, we are allotting Channel 249C3 at Cross City, Florida, as its second FM commercial aural transmission service.[2]

Coordinates: The reference coordinates for Channel 249C3 at Cross City are 29-44-07 North Latitude and 83-08-42 WL West Longitude.

Additional Information: The allotment requires a site restriction of 11.2 kilometers (6.9 miles) north to avoid a short-spacing to the license sites of Station WSKY-FM, Channel 247C2, Micanopy, Florida and FM Station WXTB, Channel 250C, Clearwater, Florida.

B. MB Docket No. 04-196; RM-10970

Action: At the request of Paul B. Christensen, we are allotting Channel 237C3 at Key Largo, Florida, as its second FM commercial aural transmission service.[3]

Coordinates: The reference coordinates for Channel 237C3 at Key Largo are 25-05-24 North Latitude and 80-26-36 West Longitude.

Additional Information: This allotment is at city reference coordinates and requires no site restriction.

Key Largo Broadcasters filed comments expressing an interest in the Key Largo allotment.

Action: At the request of McCall Broadcasting Company, we are allotting Channel 228C3 at McCall, Idaho, as its third FM commercial aural transmission service.[4]

116-06-00 West Longitude.

Action: At the request of Brundage Broadcasting Company, we are allotting Channel 238C3 at McCall, Idaho, as its fourth FM commercial aural transmission service.

Action: At the request of Long Valley Broadcasting Company, we are allotting Channel 275C3 at McCall, Idaho, as its fifth FM commercial aural transmission service.

116-06-00 West Longitude.

Action: At the request of King’s Pines Broadcasting Company, we are allotting Channel 293C3 at McCall, Idaho, as its sixth FM commercial aural transmission service.

Coordinates: The reference coordinates for Channel 293C3 at McCall are 44-57-54 North Latitude and

116-03-00 West Longitude.

Additional Information: This allotment requires a site restriction of 7.4 kilometers (4.6 miles) northeast of McCall.

2. Accordingly, pursuant to the authority found in 47 U.S.C. Sections 4(i), 5(c)(1), 303(g) and (r) and 307(b), and 47 C.F.R. Sections 0.61, 0.204(b) and 0.283, IT IS ORDERED, That effective December 13, 2004, the FM Table of Allotments, 47 C.F.R. Section 73.202(b), IS AMENDED, with respect to the communities listed below, to read as follows:

4. The window period for filing applications for these allotments will not be opened at this time. Instead, the issue of opening these allotments for auction will be addressed by the Commission in a subsequent order.
