Jackie provide an income statement to all the board members. Current balance $7,208.
Upcoming Registration on June 6th.
Make a big push for this registration. Will print new flyers to send out to the Flour Bluff schools. Will need equipment to sell. Shoulder pads and helmet - $50.00
Will have hot dogs/burger, chips and drink - $5.00
Jackie will be setting up a league SAMS club account.
Dave Nease asked Mike if he could buy the shoulder pad racks. – We will see 2 for $100
Registration cost will increase to $150 after the last registration in July. Will advertise this when it gets closer.
Lance made a motion that Board Members children (1 per board member) have registration fee waved. Mike seconds and none opposed.
Fundraiser – Mo contacted World’s Finest Chocolate and will have 50 boxes sent to him on June 3rd. Asking each board member to sell atleast 2 boxes. Mo will bring them to the June 6th registration.
Board member openings:
At Large – Kyle Christensen is interested. Lance makes a motion to appoint Kyle to the board. Mike seconds…none opposed.
Cheer – Monica has not attended any meeting or registrations. Monique agreed to reach out to her to find out if she wants to continue as the Cheer coordinator.
Fundraising Coordinator – Open
Kevin has a donation from the First Class Petty Officer Association of $1500. Will be given in $500 increments over the next few months.
Dates for summer voluntary conditioning – July 13-31 Monday – Thursday at Flour Bluff ISD Jr. High Track from 5:30-7:00. Kim has put in a facility request for the track for these dates.
Facility request has been submitted to Flour Bluff ISD for the Jr. High field, every Saturday Aug. 1st to Nov 28th.
Opening Ceremonies – Aug 15th on the Jr. High field. Looking for donations and booths, moon jumps, snow cones, etc.
Trailer – need a clear title. We were offered $500 to buy it if we had the title. Mike is going to call Steven Judd to find out if he has the title.
Monique plans on creating a team mom Facebook page so everyone can get updated at the same time. Plans on having several meetings to put books together. Will be at the coaches meeting at the beginning of the season to talk to them.
Riddell Bill – Kevin made a motion to pay the Riddell bill. Lance seconds, none opposed. Jackie will contact Riddell to get the payment to them. Lance will call the Riddell rep to ask for a Riddell rep to come on June 20th registration.
