- Welcome – Call to Order – 7:00 pm
- Approval of DecemberMinutes – will approve in February
- Pulltabs – Gossips
- The Opportunity – A discussion continued regarding the feasibility of entering into a pull-tab agreement with Gossips. Sue and Paul Dentinger met several times prior to the meeting to gain additional knowledge and information. Mike Wolters shared his knowledge from his experience with the Hockey Association. Gambling manager would need to be identified.

Impact of losing the pull-tabs – Wrestling Association is a K-12 membership, girls/boys. Gambling proceeds make up of 85% of their budget. 70% of the pulltab profit comes from Gossips, the other 30% from Longbranch. Number of paid coaches for FHS- 8. Gambling Manager is a paid position – works with Gossips approx. 20 hrs/week. Auditors occur weekly. Many charitable gambling events include weekly BINGO, Electronic Horse racing, Meat Raffles, Coach purse BINGO. Strong expectation of patronizing business.
- Questions – Would there be a “lease agreement” with Gossips
- Next steps – 1) Invite Lisa from Gossips to next meeting, 2) Put together a “Start-up Budget”, 3) Look into Gambling Manager position. This person has to be part of the TFC for 6 months prior.
- Costs and Profits – Unknown but could be up to 50K
- Playing nice in the sandbox – what is the best way to move forward? What is the best for the overall group, FHS, etc. How would we transition?
- Miscellaneous
- Total Claimed Booster Shifts – Additional shifts available. Sue sent out email for some groups to claim.
- AD Update(Bill) – Section Basketball dates: March 10 at 5 and 8 pm and March 16 at 7 pm
Bill reminded all members that the booster clubs should be paying for any items, coaching up-front – not the school.

- John Reed – VP – TFC Scholarships will be offered, same as last year. Selection process the same.

- Opinion Exchange/Booster Good News – Boys basketball on MN prep spotlight, John Melia,. Football also made the spotlight. Dance Team is currently ranked 6th out of 14 in the Section (our Section is the hardest Section in the state). Boys Swimming hosting a 6-team meet
