Vice Presidents report – Tracie Hannick, EA –No report

Financial Report – Mary Ann Turner, EA – The financials for October and Novemberwere distributed prior to the meeting and approved as presented. The audit still needs to be done. Dan Vincent, EA and Tracie Hannick, EA will work on it together. Mary Ann Turner, EA will get the bank statements and copies of the checks to them.

Director’s Report –Jenny Wettemann, EA– No report

Awards/Scholarship–We need to have SEE students submit their applications for scholarship. Awards are due to CSEA in December.

Bylaws– Rex Cerro, EA – No report

Legislative Affairs – CSEA’s Leg Day is Monday January 8, 2018 in Sacramento, CA.

Membership – No report

Newsletter – Sandra Lamberson, EA–She will wait for the minutes and get them in the newsletter when she receives them.

PIA –No report

Seminar –– Denise Baker, EA –January 9, 2018 is the CAL/FED seminar with Vicki Mulak, EA, CFP. There are only 28 people signed up right now. We need to get it advertised. Flyers are going out.

SEE Class –Rose Fulton, EA – The SEE class is finished. We will not be hosting another class next year.

Website – Karol Read, CRTP–The website is archaic and needs to be updated as it is not compatible with other computers. We need to consider upgrading to a better mobile compatible version. We are paying $49 per month and the upgrade is $69.95 per month. We need to get Karol Read the names of other website companies so she can make some calls for comparisons.

Round Table Report – Robin Robar, EA –Chico will meet tomorrow with Tracie Hannick, EA speaking on Like Kind Exchanges and Home Office. They will continue to meet during tax season.

Gayle Batti, EA – Redding’s topic today is Retirement Plans with Mary Ann Turner, EA. Redding is dark from January to April.

Quickfinders – Courtney Witsell, CRTP–Orders are being placed today.

Ethics –Rose Fulton, EA and Mary Ann Turner, EA. No report
