Fallacy Extra Credit- For up to ten pointsextra credit Due______

Using the assigned fallacy, create a neat, visually appealing poster (on 8.5x11 inch paper is fine—in color if possible). Simply printing something off the internet is not acceptable. Includes the following:

  1. The name of the fallacy (large)
  2. The definition and/or explanation of the fallacy, along with any other terms or phrases that might help someone understand the fallacy.
  3. At least two examples of the fallacies from two different sources (find them on the internet or in a book—don’t make them up.)
  4. Your own example- this can be one you encounter in the media or from your life…or just an example you come up with on your own. Check with a couple of people to make sure you have it right. (Identify it on your poster as “Original Example)
  5. Any other interesting information (history, use, etc.) that you might discover as you research
  6. A picture, drawing, clip art, pictures from a magazine, symbolic representations, etc.that illustrate or represent the fallacy.
