Fallacy Extra Credit- For up to ten pointsextra credit Due______
Using the assigned fallacy, create a neat, visually appealing poster (on 8.5x11 inch paper is fine—in color if possible). Simply printing something off the internet is not acceptable. Includes the following:
- The name of the fallacy (large)
- The definition and/or explanation of the fallacy, along with any other terms or phrases that might help someone understand the fallacy.
- At least two examples of the fallacies from two different sources (find them on the internet or in a book—don’t make them up.)
- Your own example- this can be one you encounter in the media or from your life…or just an example you come up with on your own. Check with a couple of people to make sure you have it right. (Identify it on your poster as “Original Example)
- Any other interesting information (history, use, etc.) that you might discover as you research
- A picture, drawing, clip art, pictures from a magazine, symbolic representations, etc.that illustrate or represent the fallacy.
