FALL MEETING @ CAMP WAPITI

September 7, 8 & 9

Welcome UEA Members, Dignitaries and guest to the UEA Fall Family Reunion. This year we are meeting at our beautiful State Major Project Camp Wapiti. I would like to welcome our State Sponsor and PGER Tom Brazier and beautiful Venita, our SDGER JoAnn Aldridge and the Nevada Elks State President Dave Pressler and his wife Rosemary. We have a busy and informative reunion heard of us. We start out with a dinner on Thursday night at 7:00 dress will be casual. Friday morning our meeting will start at 8:30am, we will break for lunch and have meetings throughout the afternoon. At 1:30 we will have a Government Relation Program we are trying to get a member of the DABC to attend with us. This program will be presented by our State Chairman Susan Shurtliff and Area 7 Committeemen Phillip Johnson. I am asking the all Lodge House Committee Members, Lodge Bar Manages & Lodge Officers attend our afternoon session. Dress for the meetings will be business dress. Friday night dinner will be at the camp at 7:00pm, dress will be casual. Saturday morning our meeting will start at 8:30am hopefully we will get everything done before lunch. Dress again for the meeting will be business dress. There will be a Joint DD Clinic Saturday afternoon. Dinner Saturday evening will start at 7:00pm dress will be casual with collared shirts.

On behalf of myself the UEA President, SDGER JoAnn Aldridge & PGER/State Sponsor Tom Brazier we ask that no drinking of alcohol take place during any of the UEA Meeting during Fall Meeting. There will be plenty of time in the evenings to enjoy, our host Lodge will have a bar in the evenings starting at 5:00pm please support this.

I hope your summer has gone well for all of you. In July, we attended Grand Lodge in Reno, a great time was had by all that attended. I need to give out some thank you’s: Jared and Steffanee great job on the hospitality room, the Polygamy Punch was a hit. Hortt and Suzanne you guys rocked on the booth we showed off our Camp to all Grand Lodge. Brad & Angie thank you for being there to help whenever it was needed. To the members and guest that helped in the hospitality room and the booth thank you. Provo Lodge congrats and thank you for competing at Grand Lodge, you made Utah proud for having a team there. A BIG THANK YOU to all my wives that attended the Southwest Banquet we made that night memorable to all of Area 7. Finally, congratulations to Bob & Tony on becoming our new DD’s for Utah.
