FALL 2017EARLY CHILDHOOD MATHCOURSES
CPCC’s Early Childhood program, with funds provided by Smart Start, offers developmental MATH courses only to Early Childhood students at times and in a format that meet students’ scheduling needs. These developmental classes are contextualized for Early Childhood Education majors, have a smaller class size so that students receive adequate instructor support and provide free tutoring for participants.Priority registration is given to students working with children ages 0-5 in a Mecklenburg County licensed child care facility.
Developmental Math offerings: DMA levels are 010, 020, 030, 040, and 050: each completed in 4 week sessions. Using the Emporium Sessions, all students will work individually on their math skills which are determined by testing.
