FALL 2016 – ACC/BF173 – HW03: Word Processing 3
- From my web page, in Word 2010, for HW03, do the following:
- Open "Typing in French" (which is called FrenchTyping.docx)
- Open "File to change" (which is called ACC_BF1_HW03-file.docx); save it somewhere, with the name: username03.docx – do the rest of your work in this document – SAVE OFTEN
- Currently, the whole document (including the two endnotes) is set to "Turkish" – change the whole document and the two endnotes so that they use the English (U.S.) dictionary
- Near the top of the document:
- Replace Name Surname with your name and surname
- If the date is showing in Turkish, try updating the date to show in English
- After your surname, insert an endnote that says: Student, Bilkent University
- Make sure the new endnote uses the English (U.S.) dictionary
- Find the word leads – then, use the Thesaurus to insert a good synonym for that word – make your synonym bold, size 14
- SAVE
- Neatly below TABLE, insert a table that has 3 columns and 4 rows – then, do the following:
- In the first cell in the first row, type: CITY
- In the second cell in the first row, type: COUNTRY
- Delete the 3rd column
- Make each of the 2 columns: about 4cm wide
- Center the table horizontally on the page (do not center all the text in the table)
- Make the first row bold and centered
- Input the following cities and countries correctly in the next 3 rows:
- IstanbulTurkey
- ParisFrance

- Make the whole table: font size 14
- Make the 2nd column: italic
- Make the first row "repeat as header row at the top of each page" – temporarily add many empty rows to the table to see if the first row does in fact repeat on all pages – then, removethe empty rows
- SAVE
- Neatly below FRENCH, use the Turkish keyboard to type the following sentence – for assistance, use the document "FrenchTyping.docx".

- Convert all endnotes to footnotes
- Correct all spelling errors; ignore any grammar errors
- SAVE – then, close Word 2010
