The Latimer AP Academy is situated in North Kensington. The academy delivers a comprehensive, personalised academic and vocational curriculum for up to 90 secondary learners, in small class sizes to children excluded from school or with social emotional and mental health needs. The Latimer AP Academy works in close partnership with local schools, agencies and parents/carers, to give the best support possible to its young people.

TBAP Multi-Academy Trust includes The Courtyard AP Academy which has been judged ‘outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted. We deliver excellent Alternative Provision Education across four London Boroughs and in -Cambridgeshire as well as our innovative new 16-19 Academic AP Academy in Fulham. Through our Teaching School Alliance we are also able to deliver exciting CPD and research programmes at all levels.

At TBAP, learning is at the heart of our approach. We offer a holistic curriculum that integrates social and emotional development and therapeutic interventions with education, to provide appropriate support for some extremely vulnerable young people.

Latimer AP Academy require an experienced Construction Professional/ Multi trades tutor to teach and assess Key Stage 3 and 4 learners. The appointee will be responsible for delivering BTEC built environment vocational courses.Experience of teaching vocational coursesof this nature within the construction industry or at further education settings would be an advantage

To be successful in this role, you must havesound knowledge of basic skills necessary to be successful within the construction industry and committed to achieving excellence in teaching and learning. For experience tutors, we would consider candidates with a proven track record of achieving good outcomes for young people..
