Chromian Wars

For milennia, the Sapphire Empire has ruled over the various planetoids upon which dwell the Chromians, a race of small, colorful aliens. Powerful, eternal, the Blue Emperors rule over all the Chromians, with each of them in their right place: the Blues on top, holding positions of prestige and influence; the Reds in the large factories, producing the goods that fueled the Empire’s rise; and the Greens in the fields and wetlands, growing the Empire’s food.

Other less prominent colors, such as the Purples and Cyans, also enjoyed the Imperial peace - but all was not well in the Chromian realm. The Blue rulers became decadent, oppressing the other colors to maintain its dominance. This led to the Crimson Rebellion of the Reds, while the Greens descended into violent anarchy before regrouping into warring clans.

Revolt led to riots, which turned into outright civil war. The Space Wolves, a long-faring race of interstellar weapon merchants, were only too happy to provide tools of destruction to the various factions. The three Primary Colors have been at war ever since, even though the Blues still rule over a large portion of Chromian space.

The Mass Market

Turning Mobilman and Miralupa into a $100 million business each. Growing the client base is key to implementation of the second stage of the business. A well-documented and industry wide issue identified through our marketing is the need for instant response from a trade in an emergency. Whether a consumer or contractor, when you’re standing in two inches of water you need a contractor NOW. Contractors spend hundreds of dollars per month on static marketing. For a nominal fee, Mobilman provides real time status of the exact location of trades on an interactive map. Potential clients know proximity and availability in real time.

Direct Sales to Major Accounts & Influencers (still need to calculate)

Larger contractors have IT departments and entrenched business decision processes in order to purchase IT services. This requires a more personal and longer term sales approach provided by Major Accounts representatives.

Also served by Major Accounts are influencer organizations outside the target market. Corporations such as Hydro, Rogers, Bell, Gas Met, etc. use sub-contractors to service facilities both remote and in urban areas. MobilMan provides verifiable reporting that allows these sub-contractors to submit detailed invoices of the services rendered, thus avoiding billing issues and speeding payment to the sub-contractor. Influencers are in a position to recommend that their sub-contractors use MobilMan.

Over and above these commercial and institutional influencers directly involved with the contractors we believe MobilMan will also raise non-neglectable interest from other industry stakeholders. In that group of stakeholders we identified the following who could see valuable benefits in having contractors use our services in order to validate employee presence on a site and/or is geolocalisation availability at any given moment:

-  CCQ: To help with the referral of available employees to the contractors and the validation of hours to be paid to each employee under the construction work agreement

-  CSST-WSIB: To validate the employee was on site when an incident occurred

-  Insurance company: Reduce the risk related to cover an entrepreneur because of the capacity to validate in detail the average commuting time on the road for the crews and the number of contracts/jobs performed at any given timeframe

Viral Adoption (still need to plan)

Just as large corporations push their suppliers to adopt MobilMan for reporting purposes, the target contractors use smaller one to six employee firms on a regular basis. They too will want their sub-contractors to adopt MobilMan if they are to participate in projects.

New Markets

Branching out AR to international markets such as the Bollywood Industry in India, as well as moving AR into the film industry in general is a goal.

Bootstrap or Lightning Rollout (still need to calculate)

The beauty of the MobilMan platform and business model is its scalability vs. overhead. With a basic headcount, the solution is infinitely scalable. For example, doubling the number of users does not require a commensurately larger programming staff. Past a certain point headcount becomes stable, while user adoption continues to grow. MobilMan could easily be bootstrapped. Slow growth, husband cash, hire a small team and scale as needed. That said, we are convinced that the way to market is by launching on a large scale with the intention of dominating the space.

MobilMan is charged on a per month basis, in advance. Each user downloads the free application from the App Store. Client is charged $30 per month per user on a credit card.

At launch, MobilMan is an easy to use, easy to adopt solution with a basic feature set whose value far outstrips the cost of ownership. Simply put, a good deal. As we gain customers, new features will be requested and added. Some will add whole new functionality to the solution, others will be feature enhancements. As the case requires, new optional features will be made available to users on a feature cost basis. Example $5 per month additional for integration with a payroll system, etc,

While designing the MobilMan platform, our technology team thoughtfully selected common off the shelf software components to build the core of the system. Designed around a service oriented architecture (SOA), MobilMan’s components are interoperable and decoupled giving the product management team complete flexibility for its ongoing evolution while empowering the technology team to deliver a robust enterprise grade service at a fraction of the cost of more traditional enterprise systems deployments.

With features and upgrades being rolled out to the user in record time, our sales team becomes a very agile force in a competitive market largely occupied by a few incumbent enterprise solutions vendors that cannot adapt as quickly to market changes.

Embracing the cloud computing paradigm shift, the MobilMan software as a service (SaaS) is built on top of an open source platform as a service (PaaS) that can be deployed on top of any infrastructure as a service (IaaS). This multilayered abstract cloud infrastructure allows the management team to optimize the system’s operations costs from a strategic and a tactical perspective. As the trend of computing resources turning into commodities is becoming more pervasive every day, MobilMan is extremely well positioned to get every advantage out of this inescapable reality.

Another unique facet of MobilMan is its ability to be customized to the specific requirements of major customers while still being consumed through the SaaS model. If the need arise, those customers can deploy MobilMan’s platform on site and either delegate its administration to our team of experts or handle it internally.

MobilMan/Miralupa Approach

MobilMan approaches the construction market from an entirely different perspective. Use off the shelf hardware technology to reduce costs and remove a major barrier to entry. Allow users to download and install the software themselves, avoiding intervention from the IT department (yet another barrier to entry). Manage the uptime maintenance and feature improvement off-site and as a service.

MobilMan will be available at launch in French and English and eventually EFIGS (English, French, Italian, German and Spanish).

Management & Shareholders

MobilMan features a powerful combination of talents among its management team and its shareholders: a CEO with a history of successfully leading teams to success, an IT veteran and tech wizard, a serial business owner, as well as a construction industry insider. The group of founders also have a wide network of mentors, financial specialists and business leaders.

Our core technical competency includes real-time distributed communication systems and infrastructures (used to develop our proprietary multiuser platform). Further to this, we (as a team) also have extensive experience in automated control systems, software development project management, and geospatial analysis.
