The minutes of the 10/26/16 Executive Committee were approved.
Approval of Kathy Hoyt as Executive Director of Section V athletics, relative to checking writing for banking purposes.
Approval for the implementation of a Section V Hall of Fame starting in 2017.

Executive Director’s Report – Kathy Hoyt
- Liaison Assignments – should all liaisons be current members of the Executive Committee?
- Lifetime Passes – proposal was handed out
- Revenue sharing $ - Section is receiving $ from Time Warner, Huddle ticketing and Spalding. Options for use need to be discussed
- Fall Sectionals –gender inequity issue within one sport that will be addressed
- Wrestling – Dual Meet Tournament – information from Coordinator
- Sectional medals and team championship tshirts distribution

Officials Contract – Rich Calkins
- Finalizing language issues
Policies Committee – Joe Sposato / Denny Fries
- Currently putting together a policy and procedures manual; an active document that will be updated as changes are made
Joe Backer – Section V budget / BOCES
- Change to this year’s charges ($1528 vs. $1491) due to counting two schools twice.
- Reimbursement check to schools will be $928 vs. $881
- Next year cost may increase if additional full time position is added; which was in the original proposal.
- Tim Hayes will be meeting with Superintendent reps. to the Athletic Council to look at fees/charges per district
Jack Purficato – Boys Basketball coordinator
- Requested a $1 increase for finals from $4 to $5 dollars. Action item for December agenda.
Denny Fries –
- updated both groups Unified Basketball and uniform Sportsmanship Expectations
