EXCITING NEWS: NEW ALL- AGES BLIND HOCKEY PROGRAM IN LANGLEY!

The National Hockey Training Centre, Canadian Blind Hockey, and BC Blind Sports are teaming up to launch BC’s first weekly all-ages Blind Hockey program beginning September 17, 2017. The program runs every Sunday evening from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pmat the National Hockey Training Centre in Langley, BC.

The program is open to all ages and skill levels. There is no cost for participants or volunteers other than your annual BC Blind Sports membership, which is $15 for the season for participants who are blind or partially sighted or $5 per season for sighted volunteers.

Full protective hockey gear is required, which includes skates, shin pads, pants, jock/jill, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, neck guard, helmet and full face shield. Canadian Blind Hockey has a limited supply of loaner hockey gear for participants who do not currently own any. Please inform us and we will work with you to secure equipment if you require any.

Participants who have sighted family members or friends with hockey experience who would like to come out on ice and assist in running the program are more than welcome. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ice time at 5:30 pm to allow time to put on gear.
