CRT offers a range of services, including medical/psychological evaluations of children, psychotherapy, and professional and community education, with a commitment to provide needed services regardless of a family's ability to pay. As a physician at CRT, you will be part of the Evaluation Team, working with doctoral level psychologists to provide medical assessmentof children referred to CRT for psychological evaluation and testing related to a range of developmental, emotional, behavioral and educational concerns.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics or Family Medicine.
Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.

Examples of the duties of a CRT physician:

  • Provide clinical services within the scope of his/her medical specialty (Pediatrics or Family Medicine)
  • Report to the CRT Clinical Operations Director, Erin Telford, PsyD
  • Obtain a complete history and perform a comprehensive physical examination
  • Collaborate with the psychologist who is assessing the child
  • Make appropriate diagnoses, taking into account the complete presentation of the patient
  • Meet documentation standards, including using the electronic medical record and completing all notes within 24 hours of completing the patient visit
  • Recognize and respect the dignity of a range of family constellations and caregiving settings
  • Perform all duties in conformity with the quality standards and clinical guideline established by CRT leadership
  • Seek expansion of personal knowledge to consistently improve clinical abilities
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and foster a positive work environment for the entire team
  • Maintain all requirements for state licensure and board certification
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations, including a strong commitment to the protection of patients’ personal information
