Muscatine County Community Partnership for Protecting Children (CPPC)

The Muscatine County Community Partnership for Protecting Children (CPPC) accepts grant applications throughout the fiscal year, which runs July to June. Proposals must show alignment with Muscatine County CPPC’s mission to prevent child abuse, neglect, re-abuse, safely decrease the number of out-of-home placements, and promote timely reunification when children are placed in foster care. This can also include education/training on culture and health risks that affect those youth at risk.

Examples of such funding requests could include, but are not limited to:

  1. Trainings for agency staff to increase knowledge on a specific topic/practice
  2. Support for an event, such as foster parent picnic
  3. Summer lunch program support

Funding requests cannot be used for equipment, furniture or like items. Requests for one-time funding will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until April 30, 2017 or until funds have depleted, whichever comes first. All approved funding requests have to be completed and all paperwork submitted to the Muscatine County CPPC Director by June 15th, 2017. Grants are reimbursable; receipts must be provided for all approved expenses.
