  1. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install and repair machines and accessories at customer’s site; provide technical information on operation or repair of machines and accessories.

II.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Install machines and accessories at customer’s site; installation includes all necessary assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring of machines and accessories.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories at customer’s site.
  • Perform diagnostic tests using voltage and vibration meters, oscilloscopes, computer software, indicators, balancers and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Test operation of machines and accessories after completing installation or repair; train customers as needed.
  • Provide technical information on operation and repair of machines to customers, vendor technicians, sales personnel and engineers.
  • Learn new machines, features and accessories as they become available.
  • Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of problems, repairs completed, parts installed, and time involved.

III.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years technical training in electronics, mechanics or machine tool assembly.
  • Two to four years of experience in related position.
