For the 2017 season, EWG Girls Softball will havethree age divisions to provide graduated levels of play and instruction for all players. These age divisions will help to maintain age appropriate competition.

Instructional Division: (T-Ball) is for girls in grades Pre-K through 1 (minimum eligible age is 4) - NO tryouts

Junior Division: is for girls in grades 2 through 4– tryouts required for new players or players moving up

Senior Division: is for girls in grades 5 through 8– tryouts required for new players or players moving up

Fees:Instructional - FREE

Junior Division - $45($20 discount for first timeleague registrants)

Senior Division - $65($20 discount for first timeleague registrants)

Families with multiple players ADD $20 per additional player.

Tryouts:There will be two sessions held on Sunday,April 2,2017 atEWG JR High School Gym. Juniors at 11:00 am and Seniors 12:00pm. (New players or girls moving up toJunior or Senior division must attend tryouts – players returning to the same division will not be required to tryout). All players will be placed on a team – there are no cuts!!

Season: Practices are scheduled to start the first full week of April. Opening day is Saturday, April 22, 2017 and the season runs through mid-June. Junior and Senior divisions play and practice weeknights (Monday-Friday)with occasional Saturday make up games if needed. Instructional league will meet on Saturday mornings from 9-11am.

I/We assume all risks and hazards involving my/our daughters in the practices, games, league events, including all transportation to and from all the above. I/We do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless the Exeter West Greenwich Girls Softball League, board of directors, officers, supervisors, participants and persons transporting my/our daughters to/from these activities for any claim arising out of injury to my/our daughter(s), whether the result of negligence or any other cause. I/We give EWG Girls Softball the permission to use player/parent pictures taken during EWG Girls Softball activities on its website and Facebook page. EWG Girls Softball will not allow individual player names to accompany any photo without specific permission from signing parent or guardian.
