Everything You Ve Ever Learned About Business, Generating Lead and Growing Your Business

Everything You’ve Ever Learned About Business, Generating Lead and Growing your Business is Wrong!

Most business owners start their own business based on their passion for what it is they do. Unfortunately, it takes much more than passion to build a successful business.

You must have a specific vision

  1. for what it is you want your business to accomplish
  1. and the direction you want to take to produce the results you expect your business to achieve.

Thought is the most powerful force in the universe.

  1. Our thoughts are the controlling factor in what we manifest and create in our lives.
  1. Use your thoughts to create a specific vision for your business and then apply the right strategies and tactics to grow and develop that business.

What you need to know…

  1. Creating a millionaires mindset requires action on your part.
  1. You must create a mindset that's focused on performing your highest impact and highest income-producing activities on a daily basis.
  1. If you're not happy with your business's current results, then ask yourself a question and be brutally honest as you answer it.
  1. WHY are you getting such poor results?
  1. WHY are you failing to attract clients?
  1. WHY are you attracting the wrong clients?
  1. WHY are you failing to generate the revenue and profits you expect from your business?
  1. One of the things that we have found over the years is that people who are broke, struggling or just getting by - don't think the same way as people who are financially abundant.
  1. They don't believe the same things as financially challenged people do, and therefore they don't behave the same way.
  1. In short, they take different actions.

Why you need to know this…

  1. Small business owners have been mentally conditioned to behave in a certain way. They have specific beliefs… such as "in order to make more money….
  1. “I have to work harder.”
  2. “Money is the root of all evil."
  3. "No pain, no gain."
  4. "Money doesn't grow on trees."
  5. "If I don't do it myself, it will never get done."
  1. These beliefs lead to specific actions such as working more hours and putting forth more effort in a vain attempt to increase revenue and profits.
  1. That leads to specific results such as feelings of being overwhelmed, anxiety and frustration…
  1. and a deep-seated belief that more and more effort is required, even though results seldom if ever appear.
  1. Do you know what your current beliefs may be costing your business today? For example…
  1. Do you succumb to mental barriers that may be sabotaging your success?
  1. Are you laser-focused on your highest income-producing activities?
  1. Are you hiring, assigning, delegating or bartering all of your non income-producing and less productive tasks?
  1. Do you know the specific steps you can take to immediately create a "millionaires mindset?"
  1. Would you like to know how you can learn to develop these critical skills?

There are two main components to any marketing plan:

Tactical Marketing & Strategic Marketing

Strategic Marketing

-Is the content of your message

-It's what you say and how you say it

Tactical Marketing has to do with the execution of the Strategic Marketing

Placing ads

Building a website

Attending trade shows

Competes on price. Today’s customers want information.

Only 1-5% of your available market is able to make an immediate decision

The other 95% want more information to make a decision.

21st Century Effective Marketing.

The key to effective marketing is to master the Strategic side …

NOT the Tactical

What you say in your marketing and how you say it are almost more important than the marketing medium where you say it

My Business Coaching will let you FINALLY quit competing on price….

And start selling your product or service for what you’re worth

What is the actual purpose of marketing?

  1. Marketing is supposed to help facilitate your prospect’s decision making process.
  1. Prospects need to buy what you sell
  1. Sometimes they need to be educated to the fact that they need to buy what you sell in the first place.
  1. Other times they already know that they want it but they need help deciding who they should buy it from
  1. Often they think they might want what you sell, but they have questions and concerns that need to be overcome.
  1. Prospects are not experts in what you do
  1. They don’t really know the relevant issues surrounding the purchase
  1. They don’t know how to make the best decision
  1. They can't tell the difference between the BEST deal and a major mistake
  1. This leave an opportunity for you to provide them with this information … and then guide them through the buying process.

All Prospects and Customers want the same thing:

  1. They want to feel confident their money has been well spent
  1. That their decision has been made to the best of their ability
  1. They want to get the best deal

People instinctively want to make the best decision possible …. And not feel like they’ve go to second guess their buying decision.

You as the marketer – the business owner have to ….

  1. Figure out what’s important to your prospects
  1. Educate them as to what constitutes the best deal when it comes to buying what you sell – VALUE
  1. Then show them quantifiable proof that you actually provide the best deal in terms of price and value
  1. All this has to be communicated to them in a way they’ll pay attention to, believe in, and then take action on

Instead of using marketing to educate and facilitate the decision making process and build the case why a products or service is the best on the market … most businesses fill their marketing with self-serving jargon that only a thinly veiled way to say; buy it from me because I want you to give me the money instead of my competitor

  1. That’s why people become jaded and resist marketing
  1. Prospective buyers want and need to be educated so that they can feel confident when making their decision – and no one’s providing it!

If you’re competing on price, it's your own fault!

  1. Your lack of marketing ability has led to a situation where there’s no discernable difference between you and your competition
  1. There have been no additional parameters or relevant issues introduced to educate your prospects as to what really constitutes the best value when it comes to buying what you sell.
  1. IF you feel like you’re always competing on price it's because price is the only relevant variable that you’ve given your prospects to consider
  1. From the prospects perspective, all things appear equal, so they default to the business offering the lowest price
