Fellow coaches, volunteers and TYSA members,

It is that time of year again, and on November 9th TYSA will host its Annual General Meeting. The logistics of this meeting are posted separately.

As similar as TYSA is to other youth programs, it is also unique in many ways. Since we are all members of TYSA, we can all contribute and help ensure that we continue to proceed on the correct path. TYSA success for many years to come is paramount. It is wonderful receiving letters from graduating seniors thanking TYSA and explaining what it has meant to them growing up as a child within our program. We will take time to reflect on the past year and discuss some new visions for the program moving forward. We will also host elections for our open board positions (which are also posted separately).

It feels like TYSA may be at a crossroad. There are many Board Members that have helped mold this association into the successful program as it currently operates. Some have been actively involved for anywhere from 1-12 years. With this in mind, it is crucial that we continue to draw parents of our youngest children into active, participating roles within the framework of TYSA. It is imperative that we work together to ensure a smooth transition from one generation of leadership to another. It has been a long journey for many to make this program the successful story that it has become.

Please thoughtfully consider a position within the association where you can contribute to the continued success of TYSA. We encourage any participation at all levels and can use assistance with many facets of the management of the organization. Help us to determine the correct path to take and ensure a wonderful soccer experience for all our little stars!

We look forward to seeing you on November 9th.

Sincerely,

John Hickey

President
