San Francisco, CA–The 32nd AnnualFillmore Jazz Festival returns Saturday and Sunday, July 2 & 3 to Fillmore Street between Jackson and Eddy, celebrating over three decades of bringing innovative jazz to the streets of San Francisco. Blending art and soul in one of the country's most unique neighborhoods, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is the largest FREE jazz festival on the West Coast. This year’s festival theme, In Tribute, will honor those musicians we lost over the past year, with each performer playing a full set or song dedicated to their favorite of these music masters.Honoring those from David Bowie, Paul Bley and Maurice White to Mic Gillette, Paul Kantner, Dan Hicks and more, each of the Fillmore Jazz Festival groups choose to pay tribute in their own special way.
During the two-day festival, visitors can groove to the sounds of live music from multiple stages, peruse 12 blocks of fine art and crafts and indulge in gourmet food and beverages. Asian to Cajun, paintings to pottery, old favorites and new directions, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is not to be missed.
