This year, the All-Board Leadership Planning Retreat will look MUCH differently. With Sarai Rice, our Vision Consultant with us, it's going to be a lot of focused brainstorming and discussions about where we see the church going in the future. This will be an extremely fruitful time and we really hope you make attendance a priority on Saturday, April 18th from 9am-Noon in the fellowship hall. Please let the church office know if you can make it.

Plans are underway for our Annual Mothers & Others Banquet on Friday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment this year will be Soft Fire Music Ministry by Rev. David and Pat Pence and is called, “Train Trip Across America”. So put this date on your calendar!

REGISTER for SUMMER CAMP! Registration is open for summer camps at DuBois Center. You can find a camp schedule online or in the church office. EvUCC is again offering camp scholarships equal to one-half of the registration fee for each child who would like to register to attend.

Marine UCC will be hosting a Trivia Night on Saturday, April 25th to benefit Hoyleton Ministries. Sharpen your wits and your pencils and join us for a night of challenging fun! Door Prizes….And More! $12 per person/ 8 players a table/ $96 per table. Contact 618-887-4465 for reservations; if after hours just leave your name, phone number and number of people you are reserving for on the message machine.
The Back Bay Mission Group is collecting $$ donations, reading glasses, razors, bug spray, new adult underwear, disposable body wipes, lip balm, small hand sanitizers, deodorant, back packs, shoe laces, men’s jeans. Food items needed: Canned beans and weenies, Vienna sausages, JIF-to-go peanut butter, individual fruit cups and 3 oz. size pkgs of cookies or crackers. A collection box is in the Narthex.

Service Saturday, April 18th 8:30 am – 4pm – Help DuBois Center spruce up the grounds to prepare for the busy spring and summer seasons. Projects vary, depending on the skills of the workers and the weather. Lunch and supplies are provided! Please CALL AHEAD: 618-787-2202

Mark your calendars and join us July 27-31 for Hometown Nazareth VBS. We are in need of many volunteers to help children explore the culture of Jesus’ boyhood.
