Dear Colleagues,
Within the framework of the European Social Dialogue for the chemical industry and the grant agreement of the European Commission, the social partners, industriAll Europe and the EGEG are continuing the project "Roadmap 2015-2020 of the European Social Partners of the Chemical Industry ". The detailed work plan is attached.
Main objectives of the project:
to assess, discuss and/or negotiate and implement the follow-up to the “European Framework Agreement on Competence Profiles“
to assess 10 years of social dialogue, and discuss and/or negotiate and implement a framework of actions that we plan to call the Social Partners Roadmap
Purpose of the conference:
At the end of the European project, having first held a conference in Helsinki on 13 and 14 October 2015 and in view of the work carried out over the last three years by the Steering Group, the aims now are to:
Take stock and evaluate the work carried out during the last 3 years on the European project
Identify issues related to the 2015-2020 roadmap after the end of the project
Organise two round tables on sustainable employment/ career development and on digital transformation. Signature of the voluntary agreement on sustainable employment will follow the discussions.
Establish a business framework and assess the implementation of the agreement and its endorsement
Organise a round table on the future of the chemical / pharmaceutical / plastics and rubber industry
You are cordially invited to attend the Final Conference of the social partners which will take place in Brussels on 13 June 2017 (from 9.30am until 5.30pm) and 14 June 2017 (from 9am until 1pm). An estimated 80 participants in total (representing employers and employees in equal proportions, including panelists) will attend. Priority will be given to official members of the Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee and delegations should not exceed 1 to 2 participants depending on the importance of the country for the chemical industry.

Interpretation:
Interpretation will take place into the following languages: German; English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Hungarian.
Accommodation & travel:
Single rooms (breakfast included) were booked at the rate of 140, - euros for the nights of 12 and 13 June. The rooms will be paid directly to the hotel by industriAll Europe for 2 nights (12 and 13 June).

Extras (minibar, telephone, etc.) will have to be paid for by participants themselves. Additional nights if any will have to be booked and paid for by participants themselves.
Travel costs will be refunded up to a maximum of EUR 350 (cheapest economy ticket - no taxi). It is recommended to arrive on 12 June around 6pm.A welcome dinner will be held on June 12 and a conference dinner will take place on June 13 at a location to be confirmed later.

Registration:
Members of industriAll Europe should register onlineunder “SSDC Chemical - Plenary & Conference” and members of ECEG should confirm their participation to the ECEG secretariat no later than 28 April 2017so as to guarantee the hotel bookings. Rooms not confirmed by that date will be released. Participants should also indicate by that deadline whether they will attend both dinners.
