EyeonEarth Disaster Management

Since June 2013 EUROGEO has been a stakeholder organization of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) initiative called “EyeonEarth”.
On 17-20 November 2013 stakeholder organisations from around the world gathered in Geneva to examine data and geoinformation issues concerning disaster reduction, mitigation and management under the Eye on Disaster Management Special Initiative, led by Dr. Costis Toregas.Read more.

EUROGEO joins “Open Geo for all”

In December 2013 EUROGEO applied for and was approved as a partner organization in the “Open Geo for All” initiative. GeoSkills Plus – a new EU geospatial careers project


EUROGEO is a partner in a new EU funded vocational education and training (VET) project under the Leonardo programme, called GeoSkills Plus. The aim of the three-year project is to transfer geospatial VET innovation and expertise from Dutch to labour market needs in three other countries (Belgium, Bulgaria and Lithuania).Read more
