ETHICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL & QUALITY (EEQ) COMMITMENT

This document sets out mda’s general expectations and commitments with respect to key areas of corporate responsibility. mda is committed to upholding the same standards in its operation therefore encourages a similar commitment from its business partners.

All mda personnel responsible for supplier relationships are trained in and abide by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply ‘Personal Code of Ethics’ and abide by the anti bribery act.

We encourage our business partners to have policies and procedures in place to ensure that they meet the same ethical and legal standards.

To ensure that the content of this commitment remains current and appropriate to external changes it will be reviewed regularly, amended and re-issued annually.

mda’s valuesunderpin our dedication to our client’s brands.

Innovation and quality- We will generate ideas to continually improve our product and service offerings, and provide added value for our clients.

Honesty and respect- We will treat all client partners, supplier partners and team members with the respect they deserve, and in the way we would like to be treated in return.

Passion and care- We will do our best at all times, with great belief in our client centric culture, to provide the optimum internal and external service.

Recognition and team work- We will work together as one team to achieve our goals, we will recognise great performance and attitude, and we will celebrate success.

Winning and commitment- We will be brand ambassadors for our clients, we will not accept failure, and we will work tirelessly for the benefits of all our stakeholders.

Our CSR policy has five strands: our people, our community, our ethics, our environment and our quality. We consider it integral to uphold the highest possible standards in each of these areas.

MDA's Environmental Management System provides a systematic framework for the company to identify the environmental impact of it's activities, products and services. It also establishes commitments and targets, and monitors results so MDA can continuously improve it's performance.

In 2011, mda were pleased to be awarded ISO14001 accreditation which demonstrates mda's commitment to ethically raising environmental standards by improving practices within the business which reflect meeting our obligation towards a clean environment. Wherever possible mda Procurement sources goods in recyclable packaging and eco-friendly alternatives are available for most items.
