In terms of network length, were New Zealand's largest electricity and second largest gas distributor, which means we've got a lot to cover now, and a big future to prepare for. And its the future where you come in.

Our focus on continuing operational excellence and ongoing sustainable growth means were developing future efficiencies in systems and processes and looking to introduce a new ERP system. We've completed a thorough solution and vendor assessment process and are moving into the procurement phase of this project with our preferred vendor and solution (SAP). To assist us with this vital stage and moving into detailed design and implementation were looking for a Project Director who can work within our PMO team as we embark on our largest transformation project in recent times.

Your Opportunity

You'll play a key role establishing the project team, management, governance and reporting structures along with planning and managing the design and implementation phases of the project. You'll have experience in managing complex projects containing combinations of process, technology, people and information change including multiple streams of work. You'll also bring a strong risk management skill set from similar sized projects in the industry - this is a chance for you to influence and see change.

You will have experience managing several SAP implementations and will be able to advise Powerco on key design decisions and their implications. You will be able to lead the organisation through a process that challenges our way of working and our culture whilst being able to inform and influence at an executive level.

By now were hoping you like the sound of this, and if so, then lets talk about your future. We know experience in these areas is hard to find and that's why were flexible. You may not currently be located in New Plymouth and if that's the case were happy to fly you in and out weekly. Then again you may just think its time to experience a region like no other - with open spaces, culture, and character - by making Taranaki your home.
