Application deadline for the 2nd semester (Beginning of February): 1stOctober
AgroParisTech welcomes every year exchange students thanks to more than 100 agreements throughout the world.
Engineering studies at AgroParisTech last 3 years. French students are accepted after 2 years of higher preparatory studies (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology…) and a national and very selective exam.
Students with a level equivalent of 1styear Master of Science can be integrated to the engineering curriculum (2nd year in priority, equivalent to 1st year of Master of Science) or to a Master (1st year) for a semester or a whole year.
Interested students must look through our Website describing the organisation of the 2nd year of the engineering curriculum (eventually the 3rdyear) and the Masters, the courses and their ECTS credits.
To study at AgroParisTech as an exchange student, the exchange coordinator from the sending university must send us the nomination (contact the office of international relations).
Students must fill in and send the application form (by email) before 1st April for the 1st semester of the whole year or before 1st October for the 2nd semester.
The decision will be taken in May for the 1st semester or the whole year or in October for the 2nd semester.
Students are generally accepted if the following conditions are respected:
-Nomination of the student by a partner university
-Level of French : B1 minimum but B2 recommended
-Learning agreement approved by the sending university
-Chosen courses still available. Warning!: AgroParisTech might need to change or cancel some courses; students will therefore have to choose new courses and fill in a «changes to learning agreement» form. If the application form is received after the deadline, the student may not obtain the courses he/she wished.
Admitted exchange students must sign the learning agreement and meet commitments.
AgroParisTech does not guarantee the lodging to the students, but rooms can be booked in our halls of residence if available (students can apply for a lodging inside the application form).
