· Dharavi R/S:- TPC-D Meter commissioning on 2 Nos 22 kV fdrs, 2 Nos. 33 kV BMC # 1 / 2 fdrs
· Borivli R/S:- Total 12 Nos. TPC-D Meters commissioned on 22 kV & 33 kV Feeders.
· Kalyan R/S:-
1. 03 no. Polycrete CT’s commissioned on 22kV Transfer bkr-01.
2. 20 No. Satec meters commissioned on 22 & 110kV feeders.
3. Under TPC-D metering, 01 No. ABT meter commissioned at Central Railway Chola & 02 Nos. at Ordinance Factory Ambernath.
4. 110kV Bus Section breaker Commissioned at Bhivpuri along with the modifications in Bus Fault Ckt.
· Borivli R/S:- 110kV Bus Section breaker Commissioned at Bhivpuri along with the modifications in Bus Fault Ckt.
4 / Protection System / relays Commissioning. / · Salsette R/S:-
1. 09/09/07, 220 kV KS 3 and KS 4 Main 2 distance relay lock out relay changed from hand reset to self reset, Required to facilitate A/R operation.
2. 20/09/07, 2 kV Devidayal feeder TSR relocated, Safer and better movement in the relay panel. Better view and approach to wiring.
· Saki R/S: - Saki 22 kV U/F load shedding relay wiring and setting changes, For getting better data records of frequency related faults from the Micom relay.
· Dharavi R/S:- ICT # 8 NGT N E/F relay is wired to operate Gr-B (220 kV Group – B, 110 kV Group – B & 33 kV trip unit), The modification is required to isolate high resistance fault from ICT to 33 kV switchgear.
· Borivli R/S:- 22 kV Feeders IND-1, IND-2, IND-3, IND-4, IND-5, IND-6, TC-1, TC-2 and 33 kV F1, F5, F2 & F4 feeders, CT wiring of protection & metering circuit to modified to shift SCADA meters on protection core & TPC-D meters on 0.5 class CT core.
5 / Metering activities / · Commisisoning of MSEDCL's ABT meters in series with existing ABT meters at Saki.
· Addittional 2 nos feeders at 33 KV points for REL were commissioned at Borivali.
· A Mishra & D Dey visited Elster Factory at Daman for ABT meter inspection.
· Total 132 nos meters were commissioned for TPC's Direct feeders as per MERC directive.
· MSEB data collection for calculating UI charges.
· BEST, REL & RCF data collection for calculating the co-incident MD.
- MAJOR OCCURRENCES & INVESTIGATION: -

Dharavi R/S / · 29/09/07, ICT # 8 tripped on RADSB Relay giving shutdown to 33 kV BS II , Relay Testing done. ICT min test (IR, Mag Balance), 33 kV Cable Megger carried out Nothing abnormal found.
· 29/09/07, ICT # 8, 33 kV ICT # 8 LBBU operated while charging ICT # 8 giving shut down to 33 BS II, 33 kV cable from ICT # 8 to Switchgear has developed a high resistance fault. NGT N E/F Relay operated (time delay – 2 sec.) which trips only 33 kV bkr. The relay has initiated 33 kV LBBU. As 33 kV bkr was already open, LBBU protection operated which in turn operated ICT Gr-A, Gr-B and 33 kV Bus-fault lockout. NGT N E/F relay is wired to trip ICT Gr – B.
Distribution / · 1/9/07, Kamala Mills, DT-2, Moisture absorbed on the bakelite sheet in LT Panel incoming Cable compartment, which resulted in a 3 phase short. LT Panel replaced.
· 10/9/07: Hindustan Composite, 3 Panel Board, Moisture absorbed in PT panel and the entire panel generally. PT fuse shattered. After cleaning, heating and hipoting, switchgear was taken back into service
· 15/9/07, Pkt-10, ABB RMU, Cable termination failed on R phase. Same RMU Blue phase cable termination had failed last month. Cable shifted to a spare outlet.
· 19/9/07, Raghuvanshi Mills, 2 MVA Emco make Transformer-2, Due to overloading, all the LT outgoing cables from the transformer burned, resulting in phase to phase short on the transformer. Transformer R phase become defective. Transformer-3 (1250KVA) which was kept out was taken into service. Transformer-2 was replaced with 1250KVA transformer.
· 22/9/07, Sanskruthi, 1250 KVA Transformer, Moisture absorbed in HT cable box of Transformer, resulting in flash over and bushings were damaged. After cleaning and replacing bushing, Transformer was taken back into service on 27/09/07.

Distribution Automation / Training for Operation Engineers of DA System was conducted at Borivali & Central Mumbai was conducted by ABB Engineers.
Commissioning-LDC SCADA / Commissioning of gateway RTUs at 5 nodal points for LDC has been completed.
Scheme for new IP Addressing for CCR & LD nodes has been finalised & is in the process of implementation.

EPM process benchmarking / Benchmarking questionnaire has been deviced for SCADA EPM process & are being sent for feedback to the benchmarking partners.

Manday Expert Advice from NELCO: Two Manday expert service of NELCO Engineers was availed on 28-09-07 to put the newly supplied 9.1GB SCSI Harddisk by CMC online at Parel Receiving Station.
