Agenda Items / Discussion / Action / Follow-up
Strategic Planning /
  • Centura Health and PSFHS Nursing Leadership Council.
  • NPC Goals are identified and link to nursing strategic plan.

Nsg Guidelines / Identified need for more training is needed for staff on how it access and use the Mosby web site. Suggestions;
  • Hands-on training would be best methods for this.
  • Recommended Mosby champion each unit train staff on access to web site 1:1 (education department).
  • Ask Meditech trainers to train new staff of access to Mosby web site.
  • Post module on the Nursing web site on access to Mosby.
  • See what training is available through Education services when initially rolled out and see if we can use again.
/ Will investigate what training Education services has available on the Mosby web site. / Louise and Christine
Bedside Shift Report (BSR) / “LOOK”—Louise has suggestions and has created a guide for nurses on Rehab and we’d like to share. (Quick Tip Hand off Guide).
Received input from rehab staff. Recommended to take LOOK information and develop bulleted card—much less information. Will do different for shifts and CNAs will have own card. i.e.; fall risk, bed alarms checked.
  • Could put into LEARN module—recommend there also be follow-up training
Ann Kjosa and Joan Schoendaller are on Handoff Group that is also looking at ways to support LOOK – they will talk at their meeting tomorrow and may create a PSFHS toolkit that we can use for implementation and peer review to support practice change. / Education will be developed on LOOK.
Handoff Committee may help with education development. / Ann Kjosa
