Room 311:
Ep. 2-Slumber Death

The episode is about:
To keep the school safer, the principal buys electric doors, that use power to open and detect if you’re a student or not, but during school hours, the power goes out, due to a bad storm, leaving them locked inside. Sooner or later the students start disappearing, and someone’s in charge of it…
We start off outside the school, army music is playing as a big armored truck pulls up. A US Sergeant gets out and motions to the other men to open the rear door. They pull out a big metal box, that’s says “For Safety Purposes Only” on it.
Principal (Outside watching)
Is that it, Serge?
Sergeant
You bet your sweet cheeks it is.
Ms Crabtree
You be your sweet cheeks its what?
Principal
The Doorman 3000, The best in Electric Doors, for the children’s protection only. See this hunk of wires and metal can detect if you’re a student or not, and if your not, well, You don’t want to know.
Ms Crabtree
Tell me, What does is it do?
Principal
I don’t know, but If I figure it out, You’ll be the second to know. (Walks off)
The next scene we’re inside Room 311. Mr Bale is watching the school news, Tommy is sitting on his desk, throwing little balls of paper at Joseph, and Jeremiah and the others are on the computer.
The intercom clicks on, the sounds of storm are rumbling in the background, in an eerie fashion.
Principal (In a dark, deep voice)
Ladies and gentleman, Today the school has received our newest gadget…
Tommy
A Robot?!
Jeremiah
Nah, a Beyonce Robot! Yeah yah!
Principal
UPP Junior High has brand new electric doors….
Mr Bale
Electric doors?
Don
Maybe its to keep the Beyonce robots out?
Tommy
He was just kidding, you numb skull!
Mr Bale
Boys, settle down.
Jeff runs to the window, and looks out.
Mr Bale
What’s he doing? What are you doing, Jeffery?
Jeff
I just heard some thunder and was seeing if we’re getting rain.
Don
Rains awesome.
Mr Bale
Take your seats guys, If it rains, it rains, No big deal. (Pause) Now open your books to page 16 and ….
**GAZERT**
We now flash to the principals office, he gets up and goes to the new doors.
Principal
Oh great, Ms Crabtree, Give me the manual that came with the doors. (Ms Crabtree gives him it and he reads out loud) Hm… Oh no. Oh no, no, no.
Ms Crabtree
What is it?
Principal
It says here that these doors work like lights, which mean if it storms, these door will most likely stop working, much like the power.
Ms Crabtree
Whats that mean?
Principal
It means, until the power kicks back on, we’re locked in.
Lets just keep out fingers crossed the power doesn’t go…
**CHINNGGG….**
Principal
…Out.
Now back in Room 311.
Mr Bale
Sit tight guys, it’ll kick on in a while, just sit in your desks and, um, do something.
Mr Bale walks to the office, and Tommy pulls his chair closer to Don.
Tommy (Whispering to Don)
I know what made em go out.
Don
Yeah, the storm.
Tommy
Nope, the Beyonce robots.
Don covers his head and lifts it up slowly to see everyone’s Beyonce robots!
Don frantically runs out of the room.
Jeff
What’s his problem?
Tommy
I don’t know, but Im going after him.
Jeremiah
But we cant leave unless its an emergency.
Tommy
That’s why I scared him, so he’ll run, which in turn lets us leave and go look for him.
Jeff
I’ll go.
The next scene, a flashlight shines up the hallway as Jeff, Don, Jeremiah, and Tommy walk out of the class. They slowly but surely make there way down the dark and scary hall, no one in sight.
Jeremiah
Where is everyone?
Jeff
Good question…
Tommy is controlling the flash light. He motions for the guys to follow him down further, a creek makes the boys all spin around at once, only to see a dark figure in the shadows.
Tommy
Hey, who are you! Get outta there!
No answer. Tommy slow shines the light up the floor to reveal its Jenny, the head cheerleader.
Jeff
Jenny? What are you doing?
Jenny
Don told me about the Beyonce robots, so I thought I’d hide.
Jeremiah
Awesome, where did he go?
Jenny
I don’t remember
Tommy
Come over here with us.
Now the four of them are walking down the hall.
Jeremiah
Wait.
Jeremiah whistles and a skinny big faced dog runs up to him.
Jeremiah
Continue.
Now there walking down the hallway in a Scooby Doo type fashion.
Tommy
What are we suppose to do? I haven’t seen anyone since the begging of school.
Jeremiah
Yeah. I cant believe we even saw Jenny.
Jeff
By the way, Where is Jenny?
Tommy spins around to see no Jenny.
Jeremiah
That’s two people gone.
Jeff
Quiet. (Pause) Did you hear that?
Jeff runs and the group follows all the way up the stairs and to the right, where a big ladder is underneath a dangling, creaking pipe.
Jeff
Jeremiah, get up there move that pipe a bit, try knocking it loose.
Tommy
How do you know about all this?
Jeff
Don’t ask.
Jeremiah climbs up and messes with it, Now Tommy climbs up and yanks it down, pulling three very large ceiling tiles down, hitting himself.
Now the unconscious Tommy, is lying on the floor, Jeff and Jeremiah don’t notice he’ down and out, so they climb into the air vent and climb.
In the next scene they appear to be far down into the ceiling.
Jeff has a crazy look in his eyes as he reaches to shove Jeremiah but he falls through the keeling before he can.
Jeff (To himself)
No, that was my chance, to eliminate all my foes. One left, one left! My plan was going so well…
Jeff looks deep into the dark area Jeremiah fell into, a Hand reaches up fast and pulls Jeff down. Jeff hits the floor and notices that he was right above The Principals office, with the intercom on.
The Lights kick on, as the whole school watches through the door, through windows, and even on the floor around him.
Jeff (Shy)
Whoops.
Fade out and Back in.
We show little clips of the episode without sound as Tommy’s ending voice over plays.
Tommy VO
Well, I guess the annual class spelling bee was approaching and Jeff wanted to eliminate the competition, I mean, like we care. Well, Don was hiding in the bathroom the whole time, I suffered a small concussion, Jeremiah is alright, and Jeff… Well Jeff is… How you say….
We now flash to see Jeff cleaning up the school after the spelling bee. A Beyonce robot walks by with the First Place Award. Jeff looks at the screen and screams!
