Environmental education wouldn’t be beneficial without the utilization of high technology.Establishing an informational society requires from children to be fully aware of the benefits from hi and computer technologies and the ways to use them. The didactic materials we use in environmental education are recorded on CDs. The latest multimedia product we have been using for the past two years is called “Green Package”. It was developed following the program of Regional Ecological Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (Toyota 2001). This product helps to a relevant education in environmental issues. It also assists in forming a new set of values in our students. The Global Net access allows students not only to obtain up-to-date information, but also to develop a new skill for work in the virtual reality. Getting to know this opportunity, the children aim more and more to study the information computer technologies and foreign languages. They firmly believe that this is the way to integrate to European lifestyle and to find their place in United Europe.

The children registered an e-mail address of their group and there they receive information on various environmental issues. At present hard work is being done creating a website because there students want to share what they do, their knowledge and to let people know about the activities and campaigns we take part in. In this way other students from our school join in and such knowledge is being spread more easily. Furthermore, surfing the Internet adds some variety to the work of children and enriches them. The young ecologists lice chatting with people. They participate in different forums. Thus they learn how to put the gainet experience and information into practice and develop their skills.

The Ecology Club have registred themselves on that means they are searching for partners and adherents to participate in new ecological projects.

The Students work on:

For the young conservationists the word “globally” does not sound odd. By means of learning environmental issues they manage to realize the connection between things in our world. The new ways of educating students, especially by teaching them ecology, help them grow as responsible people and citizens.

My students act at local level but they do think globally because they know that we all are part of the whole.

Internet at school is the best way for our students and teachers to look for feiends and partners from all over the world and to exchange experiences.

Some classes at school have registered themselves in the Internet to participate in an international project realized only on the NET.

Our school is a partner in an international educational project called "The Olympic values for the young Europeans."On the NET our students are hooking up with their partners from Austria,Rumania and Italy having a chat-discussion on the subject and preparing the activites.
