He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland.

He has aBSc (Hons)in Civil & Structural Engineeringand extensive experience in the design andconstruction of major marine infrastructureprojects, temporary works and thedevelopment of construction methods.

Peter has undertaken these worksthroughout Australia, PNG, South-East Asiaand the South Pacific with a keen focuson delivering cost effective, innovative and efficient projects.

In this lecturePeter will describe the many aspects of temporary works associated with construction of marine structures and will give detailed examples of how this work is undertaken and the role of temporary works in the completion of the permanent works.

The lecture is based on a paper Peter delivered at the PIANC World Congress held in San Francisco earlier this year.
