Masterful tuition by Alvaro, good atmosphere and a wonderful time by the sea, on the most beautiful Spanish coast, the Costa Brava, at the edge of Cape of Creus Natural Park.

It’s a 6 painting days course, we’llexplore and paint the surrounding areas with trips to some really exciting venues:Cadaqués, Figueres or Girona as well as some local paintings in Roses and a big with a big variety of subject matter: cityscapes, seascapes, boats, landscape, night scenes, interiors.“A painting only exists when you capture the deepest facet of the subject.”

Our accommodation is in a hotel by the seain Roses, on the waterfront, on a full board basis: breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner with wine are included, except for lunches on excursion days.

You can expect to learn about composition, values, abstraction of subject matter, big broad brushstrokes, loosening up edges, dry brushstrokes, charcoal sketches for a better understanding of composition and values, wet-in-wet, dry brushstrokes, figures in a composition.

Included

  • 7days accommodation in a hotel by the sea in Roses, rooms with a sea view, ensuite bathroom, TV, telephone, air conditioning, hair drier. Prices based on a shared room. For single occupancy, there’s a 100€ supplement.
  • All excursions in the program
  • 6 days tuition, demonstrations and critiques.
  • Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with wine.Lunches on excursion days are not included.
  • Group transfers from Barcelona or Girona airport on course dates and return. Pick up time on 9thSep: 2.00pm at Barcelona airport, return trip on 16th leaving from Girona at 8.30am, arrival at BCN airport 11.00am.Please book yourflights according to these times.
  • The free use of lightweight boards and stools.

Not included:
