Energy Leadership: Small Business Coaching

Possible frustrations, concerns, or desires of small business coaching clients that are driving the need for your services:

-Constantly OVERWHELMED by too many responsibilities

-Frustrated that they can’t quite seem to get ahead even though they believe they know better or have good ideas

-Aggravated they can’t find the right people to surround themselves with who can do it as well as they can

-Worried that they may never retire unless they find a way to get ahead

-Struggling with how to get to the next level, meaning the business’s success has relied almost entirely on the business owner

-They are likely fighting fires and really IN the “working” of the business… a lot of “have to” and “need to energy”

-They want less stress, to get more done in less time and with less effort, to have more time to focus on the strategy and growth aspects, to enjoy the benefits (not the stress) of being in their own business, personal freedom, etc.

Possible phrases that John or Jane Prospect might be overheard saying:

-“I can’t seem to get ahead”

-“I’m constantly putting out fires and never seem to get to the work I need to do”

-“There aren’t enough hours in the day”

-“If I could clone myself several times over, I might be able to get my work done”

-“If you want something done right, you might as well do it yourself.”

-“I’m stuck behind a desk working on administration, accounting and all the stuff that I’m not good at; I want to work on sales, strategy and the things that’ll keep us moving forward”

-“People only come to me with problems; why can’t they think for themselves”

Why do you want to know the above? And how can you use it?

Because the key to marketing and selling is showing your audience that you understand their situation. Next comes helping them to understand how what you offer can help.

… When you are writing marketing messages, they should contain statements that illustrate you understand the above.

… When you are selling, you should keep in mind how well you address the above will impact your sales effectiveness.

In either instance, understanding the above AND showing that you understand their situations/above can help you to build rapport with your prospects and position yourself as the expert. Think of the last time that you saw a great speaker who had you shaking your head yes, it seemed like they knew you and your world as well as, if not better, than you know yourself. This is exactly what understanding the above can provide to you when speaking with your prospects.

General description as it relates to the above (incl. what they can expect, possible results, etc.):

-The Energy Leadership program helps you to:

  • Re-focus your attention, beliefs, and perceptions so that they support your success as opposed to inhibiting it.; and reduce or eliminate the related impact
  • Tap into the Energy of Success which not only enables amazing accomplishments, but also creates an Automatic Abundance Attractor that constantly brings success to your doorstep without any effort on your part.
  • Shift from focusing on problems and fighting fires; to proactively creating solutions AND having your team do so too.
  • Recreate and envision the ideal image of your business… and YOU and your role within that ideal business image
  • Transition the business into that ideal image so that it reemerges as an energetic, successful and immensely satisfying way to work

-Energy Leadership does this by:

  • Revealing your default tendencies
  • Showing exactly how your perceptions and beliefs are creating the results showing up in your life
  • Focus in on that which is holding you back the most
  • Helping you to become conscious of how these default tendencies have guided their decisions and actions and driven their business’s success (or lack there of)
  • Helping you to consistently choose how to respond to your environment and get the results you desire.

-How do we know Energy Leadership does this:

  • The 14 Success Indicators (research results)
  • Case studies (as you develop/experience them with clients)

-When relating case studies to prospects follow this format:

  • Start out by describing the typical situation of your prospects, their needs and/or the common reason that they would need someone like yourself.
  • Summarize how it is that you help them through that situation or need to achieve what they want to achieve.
  • Think of a client who you’ve helped in this way where it went extremely well.
  • What specifics about this client’s journey or results can you cite—i.e. give us evidence, statistics, testimonials, etc.? Prove to someone beyond a shadow of a doubt that they achieved great things by working with you.
  • When you write out the story, progress through the story in the order that we just went thru but explain things in the context of this one client’s story.

A Sample Elevator Pitch (i.e. 60-second summary of what you do)

Notes:

  • The pitch below is meant to follow an accordion principle—meaning the general sentiment and summary provided can be expanded or contracted.
  • The below is meant for talking points about EL and to serve as something that you can customize into your own style and words – i.e. you don’t need to take it word for word, but instead modify it to suit you, make it shorter, make it longer as necessary.
  • You must be able to recognize the time and place for which you are delivering this. It needs to be customized not only to who you speaking to but also be in context of where you are and what the situation is – i.e. should it be more casual, more formal, etc.

Typically the entrepreneurs that I work with are constantly overwhelmed by too many responsibilities, they feel that they are constantly fighting fires and are always focused on fixing the problems in the business, they are frustrated that they don’t have the right team around them and in the end they realize there are working entirely IN their business, as opposed to ON it.
Hi my name is and I coach entrepreneurs. Most of my clients are looking to shape their businesses into what they thought it would be when they started or acquired it -- their ideal image of their business. I use a unique approach called Energy Leadership which helps entrepreneurs to discover the default tendencies, beliefs and perceptions that they have adopted over the years. This helps them become conscious of how these default tendencies have guided their decisions and actions and driven their business’s success (or lack there of).
Using the Energy Leadership Development System, an entrepreneur will be able to re-create their ideal image of themselves and of their business and then follow the 8 building blocks while they see their business reemerge as an energetic, successful and immensely satisfying way to work.
