INT. office
A GUY in a business suit currently getting interviewed.
EMPLOYER
Well Josh, you're resume certainly looks good and your references check out. We would love to have you with us, but unfortunately, our resources from our clients just turned low and we are now looking for another supplier at this time.
JOSH
So, what does that mean, you don't need me?
EMPLOYER
We need you and want you, it just means that at this time we don't have the means to hire in at this point in time. But I'm positive that our resources are going to double by winter and with that I'm almost certain you would be first in line.
JOSH
First in line? Are you sure there isn't anything you could use me for until then? I mean, I could mop floors, and clean toilets right now if you would like. (Pause_) Please my family really needs the money.
EMPLOYER
I'm sorry, I wish there was something else we had for you, but at this time we don't. I will be sure to contact you when something does come available.
SECOND PART
INT. BUILDING
ROBERT and CHARLES walk forward more into the hallway. They walk over a hidden beam which triggers lasers coming out of the walls. CHARLES quickly moves ROBERT down as the stream of lasers pounce off the walls then suddenly stops.
JOSH (V.O)
You see guys Brenthood Tech should have hired me. I'm Josh Merceando and I'm a genius!
CHARLES
Out of all the spuds we had to run into one who's a little coo coo in the head! Well Josh, why don't you show yourself so you can put your real mentality to the test huh?
JOSH (V.O)
You ready, I'm also good at magic! Now you see him..
Suddenly the lights go out for a minute and then come back on. CHARLES notices ROBERT is gone
JOSH (V.O)
Now you don't..
CHARLES
Robert! ROBERT!! Enough games. Where is he Josh?
JOSH V.O
Follow the yellow rock road!
Charles looks down to find a set of yellow rocks leading up a hallway. He follows them.
INT: locked room
ROBERT is finding himself trapped in a room with no outlet. Suddenly smoke starts to come out from the vents. ROBERT finds a cloth to cover his mouth and nose with, but starts to cough.
CHARLES shows up with three doors in front of him.
JOSH (V.O)
There is a key on the table to you at your right. The key will open up any of the three doors in front of you, but only once. Once you use the key it will remain stuck in the key hole. One of these doors is where you'll find your friend choking at this moment on poisonous gas, another door leads to a remote that would turn off a deadly bomb that is planted near the Ethel Tower Station. You know the place with the casino in it with lots of money. Then one of the doors leads to me who hold one master remote to cut of both the gas and the bomb. You have 30 seconds to pick the right door. 40 seconds before your friends dies. The clock is ticking.. Tick tock tick tock!
Charles shuts his eyes for a moment
