Team/division description

Business Reform deals with the development of systems and processes for the standardisation of Toyotas pan European supply chain.

Target of Business Reform is to reduce overall lead time to final customer and achieve lower cost/stock.

Business Reform identifies Kaizen and then coordinates and leads roll out of new solutions on a pan European level.

Your project

As part cross collaboration activity amongs European manufacturing plants, Business Reform aims to visualise and compare the different plant’s supply chain against one another by establishment of standardised KPI.

Focus point in internal logistics.

The intern’s role will be to assess current KPI level, benchmark against other vehicle plants KPIs and then define and roll out a new logic for mutual comparison.

As part of this also support to the map out of material information flows by vehicle plant will be required again with special focus on internal logistics.

Your assets

·  University degree in Business Administration, Supply-Chain / Logistics, Engineering

·  You are a self-driven individual, with a curiosity for shop floor operation, an investigative mind-set and strong task management skills.

·  Experience or university projects in the field of supply chain + value flow analysis are a plus for this activity, as well as the ability to analyse vast and datasets using Excel/Access and being able to summarise complex issues simply.

·  Open communicator adapting easily to a multicultural work environment

·  Also an assertive but diplomatic attitude is needed to be able to gather the necessary information and data from different stakeholders and partners

·  Fluency in English is a must. As the major dispatch area would be our French factory in Valenciennes, hence some French speaking / understanding is not a must but a plus.

·  Driving licence is a must.
