This year we will learn and improve on:

·  Grammar and Academic Writing: essay organization

·  Self-reliability in ELL and other classes

You will practice dialogs, do research on specific topics, put together PowerPoint and give oral presentations, interview people and write a report, read media and have discussions and give reports about current events, use online resources and do online exercises.

*No tank tops, very baggy/low pants, offensive writing on shirts

No electronics, weapons or other dangerous objects in school

Be on time: 1st , 3rd periods: with the bell

2nd, 4th periods: no later than 4 minutes after the bell

Homework:

Grades will be given for class work, homework, tests, and writing (journal, essays). Homework needs to be completed. Late homework will receive 50% credit.
