Who is ConForm Automotive? ConForm Automotive is North America’s largest and most innovative manufacturer of needlepunched nonwoven fabrics and polyester staple fibers. We manufacture much of our own polyester fiber, using post-consumer and post-industrial recycled resin in a process we call “Green Manufacturing.” ConForm Automotive supplies premium quality sheets, roll goods, and custom thermoformed products to OEM’s and converters primarily in the automotive industry. ConForm is seeking experienced electricians to join its team. The electrical team supports the overall operation of both nonwovens and thermoforming departments containing progressive electronics, robotics, large card line equipment, advanced safety technologies, etc…. Our facility offers many different vintages of electronics, which promotes system upgrades, code change upgrades, as well as new installation in a friendly work environment. The electrical field is always changing which keeps the job fresh and interesting.

Job requirements & qualifications:
Responsibilities:
Production trouble shooting
New equipment installation and equipment relocation projects
Perform electrical and electronic functions within our manufacturing facility
Initiate PM’s of electrical equipment
Correct code violations
In house training of shift electricians and operators of new/modified equipment
Response to emergency and on call during some non-scheduled hours
Specials projects/activities or other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements:
Industrial electrician certified with strong troubleshooting skills and advanced plc knowledge
Master Electrician License with 2 years at the top of the Electrical/Electronic Master Technician Level, preferred not required
Additional 2 years’ experience in AB, PLC’s high voltage and electronic intensive equipment
Ability to lead projects including new equipment installation
Instrumentation Training ( Pressure/Temp/Level)
Training ability and willingness for skills such as programming, CAD, hardware and software utilization,
Demonstrated high level of knowledge in methods, materials, and equipment used in the operation and repair of both Nonwoven and Thermoforming equipment
Demonstrated ability in creating, reading, interpreting, and working from electrical schematics, plans, drawings, and specifications, estimating materials needed, and keeping appropriate records
Consistent outstanding performance level in safety, work ethic, and professionalism
Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, with demonstrated ability in problem solving
Computer literacy required including Microsoft office
Must be able to perform the essential job functions
