We are looking for a duty telephone helpline worker to take on a senior role within a dynamic fast paced duty and crisis response team.
The successful candidate will have:
  • experience of providing telephone or 1-1 support to vulnerable people and those in crisis
  • an understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on women and children
  • the ability to assess risk and need, and support the victim to put an action plan in place
  • the ability to provide respectful, non-judgemental and confidential support to domestic abuse victims
  • the ability to respond effectively in a crisis situation with strong communication and delegation skills
  • Ability to oversee and maintain quality of referrals and assessments in line policy and procedure
