PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION

To administer various human resources systems, programs, processes, and activities for the national office employees of the EFCA.

KEY RESULT AREAS

  1. Benefits policies and procedures: Administer, recommend, and communicate to assure fair and consistent treatment.
  1. Enter payroll and benefit changes into HRIS system, ensuring accuracy.
  2. Communicate with life, LTD, STD and health and dental insurance representatives regarding employee coverage issues; troubleshoot problems, and audit insurance billings.
  3. Administer FMLA, Flex Spending, COBRA,Health Savings Account and Retirement programs, acting as primary interface with service providers.
  4. Communicate benefit programs to employees.
  5. Coordinate enrollment in benefit plans with new and existing employees.
  6. Process Worker's Compensation claims.
  7. Attend training adequate to stay current regarding federal and state laws and regulations affecting benefits administration.
  1. Hiring, performance management, and termination procedures.
  1. Coordinate applicant/interviewing process. Run appropriate ads and coordinate internal postings.
  2. Update and maintain job descriptions for each position at the National Office.
  3. Coordinate orientation for new employees.
  4. Maintain schedule of performance appraisals due and follow through until completion.
  5. Coordinate details of terminations, including verifying information, preparing paperwork, and requesting final pay detail from Payroll.
  1. Maintain HR records and data to assure legal compliance, accurate recordkeeping, and confidentiality.
  1. Perform research and provide necessary personnel information as requested.
  2. Generate and analyze Human Resources reports as needed.
  3. Coordinate group compliance reporting and notice requirements.
  4. Maintain personnel files and monitor access.
  5. Provide verification of employment as necessary.
  6. Maintain accurate organization charts.
  7. Purge files in accordance with document retention standards.
  1. Act as a resource in areas of employee morale and well-being.

a)Serve on events committee, assisting in planning and implementation of all aspects of office-wide employee events.

b)Administer employee discount programs, wellness programs and other programs as assigned.

c)Act as a resource/listener for employees who have policy questions or office-related personal concerns, responding in a professional and Christ-like manner, and reporting as appropriate to HR Director.

KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Proficiency in Word and Excel, and capacity for any pertinent web applications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Maturity in relationship with Jesus Christ

2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent administrative experience
