Facility
Indoor, (1) 8-lane and (1) 6-lane competition25 yardpoolswithnon-turbulent lane markers, fully automatic timing system, one buffer lane and one continuous warm-down lane. Overheadseating for 499spectatorsisavailable as well as generouson-deck areas forswimmers and coaches. Smoking isnot permitted anywhereinthe Aquatic Center. Onlyswimming coaches attached to a participating team,athletes, and meet workerswillbe allowed ondeck duringthemeet.Spectators canview themeet fromthespectatorarea abovethepool. ThecompetitioncoursehasbeencertifiedinaccordancewithUSASwimmingrule104.2.2C(4).The copyofsuchcertificationisonfilewithUSASwimming.Thepoolatthestartendofthepoolis 7ft.The pooldepthattheturnofthepoolis 12ft.
ChangingPolicy
Exceptwherevenuefacilities requireotherwise, changing intoorout ofswimsuitsotherthanin the lockerroomsorotherdesignated areas is notappropriate and isprohibitedby Ozark Swimming and USA Swimming.
CameraPolicy
PerUSASwimmingguidelines,nopersonshalluseacameraoranyotherdevicecapableof recordingstillorvideoimages(includingcellphones)intheareabehindthestartingblocks,inthe lockerrooms,changingareas,showersorrestrooms.Violatorswillbereportedtolawenforcementorothergovernmentauthoritiesand/ormaybebarredfromthefacilityduringthis sanctionedevent.

Meet Format and Procedures
Format:A swimmer may enter four individual events per day. Any swimmer who enters more than the maximum number will be scratched down to the limit, starting with the highest event number on the day the overentry occurs. We reserve the right to pre-seed the meet at our discretion, if timelines permit. We further reserve the right to limit or eliminate events due to the timeline constraints. Deck entries will be accepted if the meet is not filled on ONLY as NEW ADDITIONS; CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Entry fee for deck entries are $8.00 per event.
Special Events:
The 50 Free will be circle seeded in the first round; only the top 12 times from round 1 will advance to the second round. Round two will be 3 heats, 4 swimmers in each. The top 4 times from round two will advance to the championship round – “The Final Four”. All other events are timed finals and will be seeded accordingly.

In accordancewiththerecommendationsof USAswimming, theOzark LSC, and “Rules that govern YMCA swimming”. Chuck Fruit Aquatic Center willoperatethismeet undertheguidanceofa Marshall.

Meet programs (psych/heat sheets) will be available for purchase.
AWARDS
Individual events:
Ribbons for 1st through 8th place excluding the Freestyle events.
Freestyle champions will receive an embroidered commemorative warmup jacket; 2nd – 4th place will receive custom beanies. 5th – 8th place will receive custom ribbons.
Relay events:
Ribbons for 1st through 4th place.
General Conduct
SeedingandSwimmer Check-in
The Freestyle events will be circle seeded. All other events will be seeded slow to fast. No positive check in is required.
Warm-upProcedures
Warm-upprocedureswill bedefined bytheOzarkLSCand “Rules that govern YMCA Swimming”.A swimmerattending themeet withoutacoachmust report tothemeet refereepriortowarming up.Therefereeorhisdesigneeshall instruct theswimmers inthesafety rulesand assignthem toa lane. Lanes willbe assigned.

Entry Limit
Individual Events:Swimmers may enter amaximum of 4individualeventsfortheentiremeet. Anyswimmerwhoentersmorethan theprescribed numberof eventswillbescratcheddowntotheevent limit startingwiththe highestevent numberonthat daytheover-entry occurs. Entries will be limited to 350 swimmers.
RelayEvents:Eachteamwillbepermitted toenter two (2)scoring relays foreachrelay event. Teams may enter exhibitionrelays. Allexhibitionrelays aretobeenteredat “NT”. You may enter “Relay Only” swimmers inthemeet toswimon therelays, evenif theydonothave individualevents, butthoseswimmers’names must beincluded withyourteam’sentries and mustpaytheposted surchargeforentering themeet.
Sessions will be limited to 350 total athletes.
Entry Fees
$25.00 per athlete entered. Swimmers may enter as many events as desired, up to the meet maximum plus one relay.

E-mail entries will receive a confirmation that their e-mail was received. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact Coach Bob at (618) 407-7665. Timers
All teams are expected to supply volunteer timers. Timing slots will be allocated based on the size of the team entry.
Vendor
B&B Aquatics will offer swimming gear.
Fine Designs will offer meet shirts.
Important Dates:
December 29 – Entries Due.
January 1 – Entries posted on website.
January 2 – Deadline for changes.
Facility Rules:
1. Keep all trash picked up and do not block exit doors or aisles.
2. Swimmers, parents, and spectators are not permitted in any unauthorized areas. No Coolers are allowed on the pool deck or in spectator seating. We want to make sure all spectators have a place to sit.
3. “No Smoking” laws are in effect. No smoking or tobacco products are allowed on District 7 property.
4. Cell phones with video and video recording devices are prohibited in all locker rooms and restrooms.
5. No photography or cell phone operation will be permitted from behind the starting blocks.
6. Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas, and open-ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials, and/or spectators are present. Exceptions may be granted with prior written approval by the Program Operations Vice Chair.
