Conventional Fire Alarm Systems

Company name:______Contact:______

Phone number:______e-mail:______

The following is a list of items that should be reviewed when you need to put together a bill of material for a conventional fire alarm system. This information can then be used to help select the best Edwards products to fit the job.

A specification that includes job requirements and sequence of operation is also very helpful. Without a spec you may be able to put together a BOM, but the system may not function as needed. Riser diagrams can also be useful, but should not always be relied upon for accurate device counts. Often risers only show a sampling of devices, and not a complete count.

Panel Information:

How many input circuits (IDCs) are needed (not including elevator recall)?______

Will panel be used forelevator recall/control (Y/N)?____ If yes, what will you need to monitor: Primary floor smokes (Y/N)?_____; Alternate floor smokes (Y/N)?_____
