is offering remedial summer school for students who have previously taken but have not received credit for the course. The district in which the student is permanently enrolled awards course credits. All course grades will be provided to the student’s home district. It is the responsibility of each student to verify the acceptance of the summer school credits earned with his or her respective district. A district counselor’s signature is required to register for a course(s).

FEE: $350 per course

Students are expected to be punctual, prepared and present for every class. Students enrolled in remedial classes for credit may not miss any days of class or they will not receive credit for the course – NO EXCEPTIONS. If a student is absent from the summer program, a parent is required to call the Host Site prior to class to advise the school of the reason for the absence (court/medical). Sixty (60) hours is a NJDOE and NJAC requirement. All HCESC/Franklin rules and regulations are in effect during the summer program. Incidents of disciplinary violations can be considered sufficient grounds for dismissal with no refunds provided.

Early mail in registrations will be accepted before June 26, 2017. Please send a completed registration form with a money order made out to HCESC for $350 per course. Mail to:

STUDENT CONTRACT:

1.  Attendance is mandatory in and at all classes. NJ Administrative Code requirement is 60 class hours, and completion of all assignments.

2.  Students will be terminated with loss of credit and tuition and may result in police charges for the following:

·  Pattern of willful disobedience

·  Physical altercation

·  Theft

·  Threats/intimidation

·  Drugs/alcohol

·  Weapons

·  Damage to property

·  Other infractions as deemed by administration

3.  Appropriate clothing is to be worn, as determined by administration.

4.  HCESC staff and/or Franklin school staff are not responsible for loss of any personal items.

5.  iPods, IPADS, cell phones, are not permitted to be used during class sessions without permission of teacher. Cell phones must be turned off while in the building.

6.  Students who are tardy will be required to make up missed time. Continued tardiness is grounds for termination. Unexcused absences are also grounds for termination.

7.  Student is responsible for the full cost of any lost/damaged books.

8.  HCESC will uphold all rules and regulations of Franklin Township Schools for “Student Conduct Code”.
