This is just to confirm the arrangements for your group’s involvement in the Schools’ Prom on Tuesday 4 April 2017.

3.00 pm Arrive and check in at the Bronte Suite entrance
3.15 pm Rehearsal
3.45 pm End of rehearsal
Please make sure that you bring the attached signing in form with you.
Following recent discussions with the Local Authority Licensing department we need to ensure that all students taking part in rehearsals and performances have the correct licenses in place. Please contact Tara Watson at or 01274 439681 for further details.
The concert begins at 7.00 pm, so students should arrive at approximately 6.30 pm. The concert will end at approximately 9.30 pm.
Unfortunately students will not be able to sit and watch the concert this year but we hope to arrange a live feed into the rooms where they will stay when not performing.
I need some information for the programme as soon as possible please, i.e. the name of the group, information about the performers/performances, and the background of the piece(s) with composers. The compere, Dave Payne, will use it on the night, so the more information we have, the better. Please could you complete the attached information sheet and return it to me at the above address by Friday 3 March 2017.
The Headteacher of your school will be invited to a VIP Reception prior to the Prom.
Students must leave through the Bronte door. You will be responsible for them at all times.
Tickets will be on sale online shortly.
The concert will be filmed, but no audience photography will be permitted. A DVD of the concert will be available for parents to purchase, and we will send more details at a later date.
There is a possibility that there may be some strobe lighting/laser effects during the concert.
Finally, If you intend to bring any technical equipment with you, please let me know as soon as possible (see form attached) so that I can pass the details onto the tech crew before the day. Please let me have a stage plan with your technical requirements.
If you are using a backing track, please bring it on cd and on a memory stick so that the sound/lighting engineers can plan lightings and timings.
