  • Manage a desktop-applications-development team of world-class software engineers.
  • 10+ direct reports; parallel cross-platform development for Windows, Linux and Macintosh.
  • Engineering Management Lead for the release of VMware Workstation 6.0 and Player 2.0. Responsible for numerous product design, project management, promotional and team organizational tasks. Ultimately responsible for ensuring release ships on time, with quality and a strong feature set.
  • Passionate about recruiting; directly involved in 14+ successful hires to the UI team in a 2 year period; official liaison to Campus Recruiting team for entire engineering department.

  • Hired and led team of five first-rate engineers through: the design, development and delivery of our Worldwide Clearance System (WCS) product to DHL’s Australian Gateway; the discovery phase of 2 additional country rollouts; the continued maintenance of our existing customer integrations.
  • Lead integrator for the successful pilot rollout of our WCS product to DHL Ireland. Worked closely with professional services and the customer in requirements gathering, design & specification, development, user training and ongoing support. Responsible for continued customer satisfaction.
  • Designed and implemented much of the framework for Open Harbor’s first web user interface.
  • Played a pivotal role in the rapid development of sales demos for prospective Fortune 1000 customers.
