Job Purpose:To take responsibility for managing Edinburgh Rugby’s commercial strategy and to be responsible for all fundraising, sponsorship and marketing activities. To drive profit and growth through identifying, creating and delivering commercial partner and sponsorship opportunities for Edinburgh Rugby.

To be responsible for sponsorship / commercial relationship management including venue branding and advertising, hospitality and venue exploitation for rugby related events. / Personal Accountability

To lead and manage all Community Relations Marketing / Outreach work. / Personal Accountability

Qualifications and Attainments: / Degree level education or equivalent experience
Full membership of a relevant professional organisation
Knowledge and Experience: /
- Commercial Management Experience
- Proven track record of financial target achievement
- Experience of managing multiple commercial campaigns.
- Ability to negotiate and drive/close deals and experience of doing so
- PC literate : Excel / PowerPoint / Word / Outlook
- Knowledge of rugby in Scotland
- Ability to contribute to management planning process
- Experience of managing a team
- Knowledge of sponsors of sport in Scotland/UK
