Under the review of the National Quality Framework (NQF), there is a proposal to bring additional services in scope with the NQF, including:
- Occasional care services (excluding those provided for parents attending conferences, sport and leisure activities and shopping)
- Budget-based funded centre-based services that receive direct funding under the Commonwealth Budget Based Funded program and operate in a similar way to services covered by the NQF
- Playschoolsin the ACT only
- Mobile services.
Have your say on these options by completing an online survey. You can choose sections of the survey that are of interest to you, and answer as few or as many questions as you like.
You can also provide a formal written submission or make a comment online.
Remember, options outlined in the RIS are for discussion and feedback and do not reflect any agreed government positions. Changes to the law and regulations will not take place before 1 January 2016 and services will be consulted in lead up to any changes.
