Transport / · Walk to Schools Week 2016-2017
· Sustrans Active Travel Programme / · To reduce the number of children who are driven to school.
· To reduce the number of cars in the car park
· Whole school take part in the Travelwise NI’s walk to school week wearing their new hi viz jackets which were won I last year’s poster competition.
· The whole school will be learning about active travel methods
· The Eco Committee will be working with Jonny McCrystal to develop safe travel routes to school.
· The whole school will be taking part in a ditch the dark day. / May 2017

Energy / · Create energy monitors for each class / · We wish to improve our schools energy reading so energy monitors are now in place to reduce our energy output by switching off all lights, computers and whiteboards when not in use and at lunch and break times. / September 2016 / Whole School
