Dear Parents & Students,

I am pleased to let you know I will be leading a group of students, parents, colleagues & staff fromMount St. Joseph to Italy, spring break 2015, on an educational tour operated by Studio Arcobaleno Tour srl Italy (SAT), beginning with a tour in Rome Easter Sunday mass at the Vatican, then on to St. Francis’ Assisi, and with dramatic conclusion in Venice & Padua !

The programs of Studio Arcobaleno are fully insured, and its reputation is based on 30 years of experience with students. SAT’s Founding Members are the promoters of an articulated Project for the diffusion of the Italian language culture through language courses, didactic materials and educational trips in Italy and Europe. Teachers of Italian will accompany the tour groups 1 or 2 hours a day, giving help and support to beginners of Italian language study, and contributing to further language development for the more advanced students. Our trip will be linguistically- and culturally- rich, and anchored in our Catholic heritage!

We are departing April 2015, for8 days+ 2 days travelin Italy, where we will stay in comfortable, centrally-located hotels and enjoy authentic meals. Our structured program includes sightseeing trips, excursions, walking tours and many exciting local activities. The speciifics of our Easter week itinerary are attached. Further information is available at under “from USA” and “Enjoy Italy”. Click on no.16, “Marvels of Art & Traditions” to view both the short and long version of our marvellous travel program.

Your son has expressed interest in this international learning experience. Announcements about the trip have already generated a good deal of excitement at school.!

SAThas studied, organized and proposed our educational trip as appropriate to the MountSt. Joseph community, and will manage relations with agencies, institutions and hotels in Italy, and promotetourist events and initiatives, as well as coordinate & monitor the leadership of the group. A tour Guide will accompany the group during the whole trip, providing assistance to the participants: customs clearance, hotel arrangements, telephone calls, purchases and any others needs, as well as organize transportation, give advice for the use of free time, and accompany the students whenever a need arises. They will coordinate guided visits to the various monuments and organize the services of specialized guides.

I will be hosting a meeting to discuss the details, onThursday, May 9, room 206 St. Joseph Hall, both after school and again at 4 p.m. You and your son are cordially invited to join us. Preregistration, along with early incentives are available now!

Sincerely yours,
