DVD Players Multi-Region Hacks

CyberHome CH-DVD 402
1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. Press the buttons 1, 3, 6 and 9 on your remote control, in order, one at a time
3. Press the Left button on your remote control
4. Press the Left button on your remote control
5. Press the Left button on your remote control
6. Press the Right button on your remote control
7. Select the new Version option from the menu
8. You will now be able to change the value to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback
If the above does not work:
1. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control to open the drive tray
2. Press the Setup button on your remote control
3. Using your remote control, highlight but do not select the Exit Setup option in the menu
4. Press the buttons 1, 3, 6 and 9 on your remote control, in order, one at a time
5. Press the Left button on your remote control, three times, in succession
6. Press the Right button on your remote control
7. Select the new Version option from the menu
8. You will now be able to change the value to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region

1) Power On DVD Player
2) Press SETUP
3) Press NO:2002
4) Press LEFT < ARROW
5) Press RIGHT > ARROW
6) Press LEFT < ARROW
7) Press RIGHT > ARROW
In the setup menu go to VERSION, Press PLAY
=> Press RIGHT > ARROW
=> Press UP/DOWN ARROW to change region
=> 0 is region free
=> Press PLAY to lock region
JVC XV-522
1) Make sure there is no disk in the tray.
2) Unplug mains AC
3) On the unit press and hold "play" and "open/close"
4) While holding these keys plug in mains power
5) Release these keys and test apears on the display
6) Press "3D-phonic"
7) Press menu twice on the remote
8) Display reads 000 5858 use down buttons to 000 to 02e
9) Change last 4 digits to the following
0000 for region free
0101 for region 1
0202 for region 2
10) Press enter on the remote
11) Press standby and wait 5 seconds
12) Press standby again and the player is now set to the region that u desire
LG3000
1) Press the Pause button on your remote control
2) Using your remote control enter the code 3, 1, 4, 1, 5 and 9
3) Press the 0 button on your remote control for Region free, 1 for Region 1 or 2 for Region 2.
4) Press the Pause button on your remote control
5) Power off your player and wait a few seconds
LG3200E
1) Press PAUSE
2) Key in 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 (displays shows CODE 00)
3) Select your Region (for multi region - select 0)
4) Press PAUSE
5) Power off player and wait for a while before switching back on.
LG4351
1) Turn on wait till "no disk displayed"
2) Press pause ,
3) Press 3 1 4 1 5 9
4) Enter region ie 0=world
5) Press pause
6) Done

1) Turn Player on with no disc inside
2) Press pause on the remote control
3) Then key in 3 1 4 1 5 9
[CODE -- will then be displayed on the player display]
4) Key in desired Region number
[0 for Auto Multi Region, or manually select 1 to 6]
5) Then Press Pause again
6) Turn off player and wait 5 seconds, then back on again.

1) Turn on system with no disc, wait until "NO DISC" is displayed.
2) Press pause on remote.
3) Press the following sequence: 1, 4, 7, 2 (This enables you to edit some of the system variables if you would call them that)
4) Press UP 3 times to get to the 04 variable (on the left side) and on my display it originally was 0C but it might be different but it shouldn't matter.
5) This is a 16 bit variable, where the bits are flags: 01100110 activates the four listed items above, but I can't figure out how to activate HD yet, which is possibly also on my machine. That number is 66, so just enter 66 on the number pad.
6) Press Enter
7) turn machine on and off.
8) play with the stuff that works.
LG4821P
1) Power on the player with no disk in the drive
2) Press Pause on the Remote
3) Enter 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 on the Remote (the word COdE appears on the display)
4) Enter 0 on the Remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.)
5) Press Pause on the Remote.
6) Power the player off, wait a few seconds and then back on.
7) If the above code fails to work then once the player has displayed the "No disc" message press Stop before entering the above code.
LG4950S
1) Power on the player with no disk in the drive.
2) Press PAUSE on the remote.
3) Enter "3 1 4 1 5 9" on the remote (the word COdE appears on the display)
4) Enter "0" on the remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.)
5) Press PAUSE on the remote.
6) Power the player off and then back on .

1) Power on (NO Disc.)
2) Press Pause.
3) Enter 314159 (with remote).
Display will show "FF".
4) Quickly press 0 (for all region).
5) Press pause.
6) Power off and power on after 20 secs.
Mustek V520 CDC
1) Make sure there is no disc in the unit at the time!!!
2) Press SETUP
3) Press on the blue navigation buttons forward, back, forward, back.
4) Then you will find the menu.
5) It says 'ver x'. x is you Region code.
Press PREV until x=255 for Region free mode
If this fails try:
1) Make sure there is no disc in the unit at the time!!!
2) PRESS...SETUP
3) THEN....PREVIOUS

To now remove CDC and Macro
Press down on the blue navigation buttons you will now see
VER3001 press the blue navigation back button to change it to
VER3000
If you find that using the Ver3001/0 hack doesn't work then
press down on the navigation button again and you will see Ver4001. Press the back blue button and change it to Ver4000 this will allow CDC and Macro to be removed.
Then Press SETUP to exit the secret menu.
You now have a region+CD+Macro-free unit.
Pioneer DV-333
1) Turn on with no disc in.
2) On the remote control, press SETUP.
3) Select GENERAL (chack that the SETUP is on "BASIC").
4) Press DISPLAY.
5) Press CONDITION.
6) Choose region code and quit SETUP.
Pioneer DV-343
1) Remove any disc in the tray.
2) Press the SETUP on the remote control.
3) Move over to GENERAL using the arrow keys.
4) Select BASIC.
5) Press DISPLAY - this will display your region and firmware version.
6) Press CONDITION/MEMORY (nothing is displayed or changed on the screen).
7) Press the REGION # required (i.e. 2 for Region 2 etc).
8) Press MENU to store.
Pioneer DV-37
1) Turn on your DVD player without a disc.
2) Press SETUP.
3) Press RIGHT ARROW until "GENERAL" is selected.
4) Press DOWN ARROW once.
5) Press DISPLAY.
6) Press CONDITION MEMORY.
7) Press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 for the region you want
9) Press SETUP.
Pioneer DV-505
1) Turn on your DVD player without a disc.
2) Press MENU.
3) Select INITIAL.
4) Press DISPLAY.
5) Press CONDITION.
6) Then input the number of the zone you want.
Pioneer DV-530
1) Turn on with no disc in.
2) On the remote control, press "SETUP".
3) Select "GENERAL" (certify that the "SETUP" is on "BASIC".
4) Press "DISPLAY".
5) Press "CONDITION".
6) Choose region code and quit "SETUP".

1) Turn on with no disc in.
2) On the remote control, press "SETUP".
3) Select "GENERAL" (chaeck that the "SETUP" is on "BASIC")
4) Press "DISPLAY".
5) Press "CONDITION".
6) Choose region code and quit "SETUP".

1) Press SETUP.
2) Now go all the way to the right .
3) press ENTER on the last tab (it should NOT be on Expert Setting).
4) Now press DISPLAY.
5) It will show what region it is on.
6) Press CONDITION MEMORY then either 1 2 3 4 5 6 for the region you want.
7) Press DISPLAY again to make sure it changed.
8) Exit and play disc!
Pioneer DV-717
1) Turn player on.
2) Press MENU on the remote.
3) Press ENTER.
4) Press DISPLAY.
5) Press CONDITION.
6) Now you get the option to choose between region (1-6).
7) Once you chosen the region you want select MENU.
Pioneer DV-C302D
1) Press SETUP.
2) Now go all the way to the right .
3) Press ENTER on the last tab (If it is set to expert, change to basic) Now press DISPLAY ).
4) It will show what region it is on.
5) Press CONDITION MEMORY then either 1 2 3 4 5 6 for the region you want.
Pioneer DV-K101
1) Turn the DVD player on without a disc in it.The front panel will read: "NO DISC".
2) On the remote control, press "MENU".
3) The on-screen display should show "OSD".
4) Press "1" on the remote to choose "Initial" .
5) Press "DISPLAY" on remote.
6) You should see the region code that the player is currently set to.
7) Press "CONDITION" on remote.
8) Press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 to change the region code to the one you want.
9) The on-screen menu should display the following message:

1) With no disc in press the menu button.
2) Press DISPLAY.
3) Note the region number indicated in the right hand box.
4) Press CONDITION.
5) Then the region number you want.
6) Watch the number change on the screen.
7) Press ENTER / OK and then it is set until you want to change it again.
