INTER-FLIGHT COMPETITION

During the Sr. NCO Meeting it was suggested that more inter-flight competition was needed. To start this idea off it was decided to add bonus points to the flight with the highest attendance at major events, such as Tag Day, Battle of Britain , Spirit Night etc. Each cadet of the flight who has the most cadets in attendance will get a bonus of 5 points and a coupon for 1 free food item at the cadet canteen.

This is only a start, so if you have any ideas take them to your Flight Sgt who will pass them up to the warrants to be discussed at the next Sr. NCO Meeting.

58 Squadron Kit Shop

Starting this week we will be offering Jackets, Hoodies and T-Shirts for sale.

You may visit the squadron canteen for samples, sizing and pricing details. Orders will be taken by the canteen staff up until September 27,

For cadets ordering - before cadets, at break, or after cadets

For parents – anytime during the evening except break time

Approx pricing is as follows:

Jacket - $70.00

Hoodie - $45.00

T-Shirt - $ 15.00

Plans are that after the end of November the squadron Kit Shop will be linked to the squadron web site so you may order direct. Also planned are many more items such as hats, mugs, etc

With this December being the 75th year since we received our Charter in December 1941, each cadet will be sized for a T-Shirt with the squadron crest over the next 2 weeks at NO CHARGE!!

This is being made possible because of the 75th celebration and the fact that the cadets did a great job supporting the recent Tag Weekend.

OPC TICKETS

Each returning cadet is required to sell one book of OPC Tickets. The money and ticket stubs are to be returned this week. Please do not take the stubs off the cardboard backing.

Money and stubs to be returned to the canteen to either
